As far as local elections, you are right on, it is our fault, democrats that is, so many states have radical right wing, anti women administrations, we can only change this by voting in all local and state elections and we failed big time in ’10 and ’14. But this year I really think we will take back the Senate and keep the White House, not enough but it is a start.
I do understand the origins of the ‘book’ and it’s various interpretations by other religions, but it is still as you say just the oral histories written down, many times hundreds of years after the fact, and we all know about that rumor started in the AM and listened to again in the PM, words are written, to again, lay out a proper way of living, written by men, to control others lives, people living in a group do need guidelines and so rules are written, and one thing that helps control the group is fear, those fears were used by the earliest shaman and later by the biggest churches, and to this day they are still being used.
