If Chris Christie Became President, Who Would Be In His Cabinet?

Sure, but they keep lowering the bar, making it an easy leap.

Secretary of State Edward Snowden has a certain ring to it, but George Zimmerman as Secretary of Defense and Sarah Palin as Secretary of Education might just put him over the top in gopee circles.

President X – Will Americans Really Elect a Man in Hiding?

I’ve been feeling better lately about the election. For a while there, I’d wake up in the morning with my mind churning about the possibility of a Romney presidency. Also, I’ve noticed others pointing out the low approval rating Mitt’s gotten since his trip abroad and that’s encouraging. I, too, will work hard to help Obama’s re-election. Thanks for putting things into perspective.

Very well said, Adlib! Logical and sane. I shudder to think of what this country would be like with such a man as Mitt Rmoney in charge.

Romney the Private Equity Consultant

Great blog! Reminds me of the joke that ends with, “Lord, if you can’t help me, please don’t help that bear!”
Extra points for using the words Nostradumbarse and mendacity.

A Psychiatrist’s Perspective on Obama: “His work is not done. Our need is still real.”

Well, done, Murf! I’m beginning to feel much more hopeful about the coming election.

GOP Politics – Winning at Any Cost

Beautiful! I loved every word (even though I hated the facts). You have really cut to the core of the problem with this insightful piece. Thank you.

The Christian Right Assault on America – Government and the Military

Thank you, Sue, for this insightful and informative article. Recently, I received an email from one of my right wing cousins who was all up in arms over some perceived attack on Jesus. The email said military chaplains were forbidden to use the name Jesus anymore.
It sounds like more bullcrap to me so I just ignored it. At the risk of sounding redundant, I would like to ask, what ever happened to the separation between church and state?

My date with the GOP

Wow, Funk, that’s an impressive piece you’ve written! I admire your bravery in sallying forth into the lion’s den of the GOP caucus in your state. I couldn’t have done it, but then, I live in Texas. You were great, though. Have you ever considered a career in espionage?

LIVE BLOG: GOP Primaries in Michigan and Arizona

Let’s see how many goose stepping goppers turn out for this latest debacle. Even if only a couple of these fools vote, there will be a “winner” and a “loser” unless, of course, it’s a tie.

Gas Prices and the Presidency – An MSM Fictional Production

Damn, you have hit the nail right on the head! Thank you so much for giving me fuel to use when my right wing family sends me their GOP propaganda. May I quote you and your links? I’ll give you credit. Who are you, again? XX0

“Yeah, That’s the GOP Ticket!” – Can Romney Lie His Way Into the White House?

You have such a way with words. Very well put. I’d love to borrow this quote —

“Romney is an adult child who has been given everything he’s ever had and naturally thinks he should continue to be entitled to whatever he wants. He has lived in a bubble of wealth and elitism and looks at 99% of Americans like beetles he’s caught in a jar.”

Bernie Madoff: Defending Mitt Romney and Free Enterprise

Thanks so much for the laughs tonight, AdLib. I was feeling a bit blue and you perked me right up. Tragedy and comedy have become so much a part of politics that, what can you do but laugh because it hurts too much to cry.

Revelations of a 24-Hour MSM Cycle

I love the light hearted humor in your article! The news is depressing enough so I welcome your humorous take on the circus parade that we call news these days.

Thanks, Kalima, I feel very welcome here! In fact, I think, already do know some of you, just not your PPOV names yet.
