TRUMP: "All I can say is that families should count their lucky stars that their loved ones died in the military while I was president."
This wasn't the straw that broke the camel's back, it was a two ton girder of betrayal and abuse of power that squashed the camel flat. The American people, were so outraged that Trump's continued freedom to destroy our democracy unfettered and the status quo that Speaker Nancy Pelosi has tried to sustain to avoid impeachment, were no longer acceptable.
TRUMP: "Dear wall, I'm praying that you turn all the media into something...I don't know, salt, lepers, hey what about, snakes! With tattoos that say, 'I love Fake News!' but with the heart sign for 'love', you know?"
Trump explained, "Okay, some people say that Mr. Bin Laden may have been a hateful madman who was followed as a cult leader and didn't care about the lives of anyone else..but somehow, I feel a real connection with him."
What you see in these RW Republican politicians on most issues is pretty consistent support for allowing the deaths of others to poverty, guns, wars, old age, etc.. Their "pro-life" position on abortion is an anomaly...and that's because to them, this issue isn't really about religious beliefs or compassion, It's about something else far more crass and cynical. It's about power.
What if Trump was able to reshape America without Congress or the courts being able to check his power, what would this country look like? Let's call it Trumptopia, a regime resembling Russia but with a Trumpian twist.
Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! Today there are two races for spectators to watch, a demolition derby run by the GOP in South Carolina and a drag car race between two hot rodding Dems in Nevada.
Trump called a group (anyone who disagrees with his immoral, anti-Democratic policies and actions) "human scum." That's the sort of inflammatory rhetoric that gets people killed.
Trump explained, "See, this way you get rid of the stress employees have to deal with, getting up the courage to ask for raises and companies don't have to deal with rising costs of labor. It's a win-win!"
Trump said he would be a dictator on day one. Does anyone believe he will stop being a dictator at the stroke of midnight?
