Looks like President Trump will be impeached, and smart money says, before Christmas - accompanied by very strong censure (which could include taking away, or closely monitoring, many of Trump's responsibilities).
Why exactly is it obvious that their focus is on Ukraine? This is a general impeachment, Trump has committed hundreds of crimes. And, "our committee's" job is to recommend charges to be included in the Articles of Impeachment.
Trump has already given up his right to be free from self-incrimination. He has publicly defended his acts and motivations and acted in a patterned way to repress testimony by direct order.
It seems that if the criminals in the Republican Criminal Syndicate don't like a law, they just break it. And dare anyone to do anything about it. They know that the liar and oathbreaker William Barr will neglect to turn his Imperial Gaze their way.
First, Republicans told us that, "Truth isn't truth." Then, the most remorseless liar that I've ever seen informed us further that, "There's no such thing as truth." Now, Mr. Santorum would have us believe that, "Truth is irrelevant."
If Rudy Giuliani's criminal associates, and troops enlisted from the ranks of Russian and Ukrainian cyber-terrorists, were conspiring to fix the U.S. Presidential Election long before the 2016 election itself, then Giuliani has known all this time.
It's not even about, "winning," with Trump and his followers now; it's about cheating and getting away with it.
We're starting to hear a new narrative: that representative democracy's day is done, that people just can't be bothered with participatory government. Democracy seems to be a lose-lose situation for us "end users." How wrong is it possible to be? Wait for it!
We could stop Donald Trump. But we can't with a corrupt media. They are the Invisible Actor (or a proxy). We don't know what their motives are, or who their leaders are. And the issue never gets any press and is never open to discussion.
Donald Trump will remain "the Impeached President," not the "acquitted president," for as long as Nancy Pelosi wants to keep him that way. He won't be able to brag, just gripe about the System being unfair - a subject that he should stay away from.
