It looks like they removed her photo, but left her silly ass comments. Sheesh…. I resent it as well. I suppose it’s just more proof that the Queen is in to the $$ much more than the news of the day or reasonable commentary. Night all. ps………kevin, I’ll try really hard to stay off the damn site on Friday, but it’s harder than i thought. π » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 7:13 pm Words Are Our Most Important Product well said! » Posted By nicole473 On November 5, 2009 @ 6:00 am Excellent post, FM. The power of words is really what the world runs on, isn’t it? I am wiped out, going to bed. Will be back in the morning to post more. Meanwhile, kudos, and peace. Night everyone. » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 7:09 pm 1. Y EDIT- I waited to read everyone’s responses until after I posted mine. But, after reading them, I am on the fence about term limits. There are certainly pros and cons on both sides, but the system as we know it now does seem to allow for crooks to dig in and reap the benefits. There has to be a better way. » Posted By nicole473 On November 5, 2009 @ 3:04 pm I was very saddened to hear that Maine repealed their law allowing same-sex couples to marry. It was such a hopeful thing when it was enacted, and now this……. » Posted By nicole473 On November 5, 2009 @ 5:55 am Great story, Pepe……thanks for sharing it. » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 11:12 am Thanks for posting this, GreatLardini! Today I was thinking back to election day, remembering how excited I was; more excited about an election than I had ever been in my adult life. I recall being both nervous and exhilarated as after blogging my heart out for Obama for several months prior to the election, I live-blogged election day. [ http://indiedesign.typepad.com/inspire_emotion/2008/11/election-day-2008.html ] Then, at 11PM, ABC News projected Barack Obama to be the 44th President…….and I promptly began crying happy/relieved tears as I realized we had done it! A year later, I am more sober, more realistic, but I still have faith in this very good, decent, intelligent, and deliberative man whom we chose to lead this country. Thanks for posting it, Khirad! » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 6:02 am Okay, thanks BDM!! » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 6:00 am Same here. They make me gag. » Posted By nicole473 On November 4, 2009 @ 5:55 am Do you know if the interview is posted online anywhere, BDM? » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 6:58 pm Yeah, unfortunately she got almost exactly what she wanted. The only way it could have been better for her is if Plouffe’s article been more complimentary to her own analysis. I am glad he refuted her bs, but far fewer people will see it than saw hers, and it did provide her with another notch in her crown. *sigh* Like Nellie said, if I had the money, I would so fund a competitor. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 6:56 pm I can’t wait to see it, Kalima!! » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 6:49 pm That’s what I figure. Her aim was very likely to get pretty much what she got…..attention from the WH, and thus, the rest of the world. blech. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 6:48 pm My pleasure. She is something. What exactly that is, I will leave to Kalima to describe since she does such a beautiful job of it!! π » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 6:46 pm I think I will stay away from HP tomorrow. I am afraid I would wind up banned. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 5:21 pm Thanks, I just did a c & p. She is big on posturing, isn’t she?! » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 5:17 pm Bawahahahaha…….I would so pay to see that! π » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 5:16 pm OMG, I think that would definitely cure me of my addiction! » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 5:00 pm BITE your tongue!!! π » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 4:46 pm He did do good. I had to post it. I was thrilled to see it, actually!! » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 4:45 pm Ha ha….I can just imagine the urge to scrub him that came over her. But then she would lose the cachet of having him respond to her silly ass article. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 4:45 pm I feel the same way about Obama’s people, escriba. And, I absolutely think that AH is caught up in a power fantasy. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 4:44 pm I agree. I suspect you will be scrubbed however. I didn’t even bother to comment over there, although I may just post a few kudos. » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 4:42 pm We Can Think That For You Wholesale sorry. π » Posted By nicole473 On November 3, 2009 @ 3:30 pmComments Posted By nicole473

6. N – Any modern industrialized country requires a publicly held central bank for a variety of excellent reasons, chief among them being the lack of a centrally controlled national monetary policy. And although they have been pitifully bad at this, that doesn’t mean that we should not have a publicly held central bank; it means it must be reformed so that it meets our needs.

9. No. We have a need for a CIA-like organization. They should be far more strictly accountable, however.

Our system does allow for mob rule in the form of initiatives, and as you so eloquently pointed out, these initiatives should and must be banned. Until they are, I believe that they will become even more common, and will largely seek to retreat from civil rights, not only for gays, but for other groups as well.
Found it! Love it, AdLib!!
