Republicans have been lobbying Trump to change his campaign persona into a "more presidential" one, to go by a script and stop saying incendiary things. In other words, they want Trump to pull a bigger con on the American public than he has been, deceiving voters into thinking he's not the sociopath he really is.
"Me know women get less pay for same job but speaking for all women as man, what feel worse to women is everyone knowing it. So me decree, on behalf of women, no one talk about it anymore." Problem solved!
Just in time for the end of the 2012 election PlanetPOV presents the new Periodic Table of Dangerous Elements. There are plenty of new infamous characters added but there are still many golden oldies on the table.  Two Willard...
Consider Trump's campaign of terror on immigrants and people of color, from the Muslim Ban to Trump's demagoguing of Latinos as dangerous threats to white Americans to tearing babies away from their parents and locking them in torturous conditions. Within the broad spectrum of fundamentalist denominations there are some currents which are particularly alarming. Sarah Palin comes out of such a milieu.
When asked if there were any reservations about going into business with a terrorist group, Priebus responded, "There was that worry at the outset but we were eventually able to convince Al Qaeda and the Taliban to put that concern behind them and come on board with us."
Donald Trump shows a striking inability to parse information. He can't order and arrange, or prioritize data in a normal way. So, we get pink elephants like airports in the Eighteen Century, refugees from terror and rampant criminality depicted as villains, and raking as a cure-all for the desiccation of North America. The President seems to be getting worse, and we are all in terror of what he may do.
