It all comes down to profits for those who have more to gain from war than peace. We have McCain in the Senate who never met a war he didn't like. Why, because he can line his pockets with considerations.

First , let me say I am not a big fan of labels like "conservative" or "liberal". I believe they are misleading at best.

So no, they don't stop the bad guy from killing.

Tax evasion and tax avoidance reduce government revenues. If there are loopholes that allows these companies to avoid paying taxes we need to close them. It is hurting America and its citizens who are paying their taxes.
This man, Tom Steyer is a very wealthy man who will back Democrats against the Keystone XLPipeline. So who will benefit from the Keystone Pipeline? Who will be hurt? First, the rich oil corporations and the very wealthy will benefit. Second, the middle class, working poor, and poor will be hurt. Farmers, ranchers, homeowners, and small businesses will also be hurt.
