This man, Tom Steyer is a very wealthy man who will back Democrats against the Keystone XLPipeline. So who will benefit from the Keystone Pipeline? Who will be hurt? First, the rich oil corporations and the very wealthy will benefit. Second, the middle class, working poor, and poor will be hurt. Farmers, ranchers, homeowners, and small businesses will also be hurt.

It is hard to decide what is more horrible, that a major news network would rally for a mass shooting of law enforcement officers and citizens or that Right Wingers were literally giddy at the opportunity to “begin the revolution” by wanting to kill police in order to steal land and violate laws.

Greed seems to rule when it comes to coal, oil, fracking, and the nuclear industries. Renewable energy sources are available and if the big corporations would put some of their obscene profits into solar, electric cars, wind, and geothermal energy we could start to reverse some of the harm done.

I got a call from a recruiting Sgt. at work. He said “Why don’t you join the Army boy?” My response was “No thanks, I’ll take my chances with the draft.” That was the wrong thing to say to a recruiting Sgt., only two weeks later I got my first draft notice in the mail.
