I wouldn’t have voted for Brown, but I would have had a hard time biting the bullet to vote for Coakley too.
One thing I learned is that most of us view Mass. as a Liberal State when it is really a Democratic State and there is a Cultural Bias of sorts being experienced there between what it considered the “Educated Class”(Harvard) and the working class(Union) Democrats. Several “Factory” towns that always voted for Kennedy went to Brown this election.
Also the GOP was basiclly ignoring Brown intil the last couple of weeks.

With the passing of Ted Kennedy the Machine lost it’s Patriarch and there is no Kennedy that was qualified enough to take his place. Kerry doesn’t fit the bill either.
One thing to note is that 3 Attorney Generals have run for higher office in Mass and not a single one won. Also, Coakley is from an area of the State that people in Mass. don’t vote into higher office, the last Governor from there was in the 20’s and the last Senator was early 50’s. Many people felt that Kennedy should have resigned early on in 2009 and if he had there would have been a different atmosphere and Dem’s would have kept the seat.
There are some costs issues that are being addressed and issues with wait times, but that has nothing to do with the State plan in itself than with a shortage of primary care MD’s in the US. Everyone wants to be a specialist cause thats where the money is.
I wonder if next we’re gonna see people from Mass protesting with signs that say ” Keep Your Hands Off My Uniiversal Health Care”…

By singling this person out and if she didn’t mention his race outright (“the “N” should be lynched”) you could be creating a HR logistical headache for yourself… Proving this person had racial intent instead of political dissent could become difficult for you if no specific reference to the Presidents race was mentioned…
You wanna see anger let them pass the Bill that Taxes the working/middle class white guy while others with same excact benefits enjoy their’s Tax Free…
You just can’t be seen sipping champagne in a Tux on Wall Street asking them to “play nice” and then insist on taxing Health Care benefits and expect the average working/middle class person to think you give a damn about them…
I personally believe some of the “Backlash” the Dem’s are experiencing is from her and others “Catty” high profile attacks…
Having someone on Maddow yelling and threatening an Elected Official with “I dare you” and then to make a high profile attack against a charity doesn’t sit well with middle America…
As I said before I would love to see the Dem’s that accepted PAC money from her return it to her in unison on camera…

As an American Citizen I would like to know where exactly does the money go that Jane Hamsher raises on her Site Firedoglake and if any monies raised to pass Health Care Reform Bill are now being used even remotely to help fund her campaign to “Kill The Bill”…
