So many good posts, it was hard to choose. Each and every person that had the courage to write a blog, news item, humorous article, or any of the posts on here are to be congratulated. Famous Movie Quotes

One of my favorite is from Top Gun Stinger to Maverick

Maverick, you just did an incredibly brave thing. What you should have done was land your plane! You don’t own that plane, the tax payers do! Son, your ego is writing checks your body can’t cash. You’ve been busted, you lost your qualifications
-Stinger

The Breakfast Club. John Bender
Hey, how come Andrew gets to get up? If he gets up . . . we’ll all get up . . . it’ll be anarchy!

The Infantilization of America

I think Kesmarn probably just hit the nail on the head for all of us so sick to death of the MSM and trivial nationwide entertainment.

Oh Em I am so sorry to hear this. Please know I will be praying and thinking about her. Why Why Why? I can only surmise that some people in this world are just without any humanity. I hope they catch the creeps who did this and make an example of them. Please tell your friend there are people out here who really do care.

Call Out Hypocrisy in 2010

I was perusing Hp a little while ago and the Main is all about Hairyanna and her fellow bots telling everyone to go to community banks and the sheeple are acting like this is the idea of the century. I tried to get in a few posts but any that were critical of Ms A were blocked, figures. So I just used the term “they” to critize the post.

How long have others been talking about going to smaller banks and credit unions? She is about a 2 years late on the uptake.

The hubris coming from her these days is incredible.

Anthony’s Song

Ok, I will just tell him how he could get in trouble and lose all his rock star earnings if he were to plagurize and be sued LOL

» Posted By SueInCa On January 15, 2010 @ 10:53 am

Oh you are mean………..LOL. We probably would have though. Like Cosby said, those are not the parents who raised me, they are trying to get in to heaven now, by spoiling the grandchildren

Better yet, maybe I will lose his Sonic games. But dessert might work as well. I will think of something. He cheated in school one time but the punishment was not enough to make an impression I guess. He is really a good kid though. He just thought he could pull one over, and he did on me LOL. I will be checking on him from now on that is for sure.

» Posted By SueInCa On January 15, 2010 @ 10:38 am

We will find out when he gets back later today………..grrrrrrrrrrr

» Posted By SueInCa On January 15, 2010 @ 10:29 am

Oh well, at least he took the time to write it all down. Wonder if he got the lyrics on one of those sites that provides them? He is out playing b-ball right now so I will check with him later. He needs to learn a lesson about plagurism LOL

» Posted By SueInCa On January 15, 2010 @ 10:28 am

OMG, I am going to spank him LOL. He is nothing if not industrious. How embarrassing for me.

Be Afraid…Be Very Afraid…

Well, I am sure that smokers who want to quit, might just enjoy that nicotine in their water instead, but wait, what about the children? For that matter what about children and lithium? Don’t know much about the drug, but it cannot be good for children, unless you want to label them all as “bi-polar”.
Conspiracy theories have been around since the beginning. The problem is that people cannot separate the legitimate from the fantasy. And it all depends on what people “want” to believe. Me, I like a good conspiracy but I hope I have the intellect to separate true from false.

When To Give Terrorists What They Want And When Not To

No yet, I will get it. I saw you reference it in an earlier post and wrote it down as a must read. See the influence you have? Now, I really must go get some things done, this place is addictive. LOL, in a really good way.

Pepe
You can directly relate most of Reagans, Bush’s, Palins, Sanford’s speeches and their use of words back to the family and the 7 mountains. there is no doubt they have been influenced by these people.

Believe me, my gray matter is just as bad, it just so happens I just finished my semester in a course on Administration of Justice. And as a framework for understanding our judicial system, we covered the Magna Carta and its influence in our democracy.

TRP, I am glad to see others that see this, sometimes I think I am obsessed with this whole issue.

Hey you two, don’t even get me started on these fundalmentalists. But make no mistake, they are a force to be reckoned with and are very dangerous. The only thing to do is educate people about what you know. It is sad but there is so much “activity” around us day and night that is intended to keep us distracted on purpose. You could add the “shock doctrine” in to that mix. Government uses it whenever they want to pull a fast one.

Em, actually our basic laws, bill of rights and the initiation of police forces in this country came directly from the Magna Carta. It was the significant early influence on the extensive historical process that led to the rule of constitutional law today in the English speaking world. The Magna Carta influenced the development of common law and many constitutional documents, including the United States Constitution.

Magna Carta was the first document forced onto an English King by a group of his subjects (the barons) in an attempt to limit his powers by law and protect their privileges. It was preceded by the 1100 Charter of Liberties in which King Henry I voluntarily stated what his own powers were under the law.

I think it only applies to Indian property. I know if you are in an accident on an indian reservation, you have no insurance, at least that is what happened to a friend of mine. insurance refused to pay.

Excellent post Bernard

Great post Abby. I had heard a few months ago that England was allowing Sharia law to be practiced but when I went to Snopes they said it was false, so much for them being up to date. There is no room in any country for two justice systems. How do they handle incidents between a muslim and a british citizen? Does British law prevail? If Islamist Muslim schools are Madrassas, then we do have them here in the US. There is one maybe 20 miles from where I live in the city of Sacramento.

It must be really strange to see two justice systems in action in one coutry. What about the oil deal for the Lockerbee bomber? That was rather crude as well, no pun intended.
