Granholm makes a great point about how there are states that do not have collective bargaining that are running huge deficits and visa versa. MR. GREGORY: Republicans, they won in November. They are now owning this conversation, it seems, more than President Obama and the Democrats are. Mr Gregory=Tool
GOV. GRANHOLM: I think it’s clear that the Democrats want to rein in spending, but they don’t want to damage the economy. The whole point is, you know, I think there is a real overreach with respect to the interpretation of the November results. The November results, sure, some people voted the way they did because they wanted to cut everything out of government. But most people, I would venture to say, did it because they were uncomfortable with the fact that the unemployment rate is high, that this is about jobs and the economy more than it is about the deficit. You slash too much, you hurt jobs and the economies. So where’s that balance? And let me just jump back for one thing on Wisconsin.
MR. GREGORY: Mm-hmm.
GOV. GRANHOLM: On–you know, there are states in this country that have massive deficits that don’t have collective bargaining, and there are states that have very low deficits that do have collective bargaining.
REP. FORD: That’s a great point.
Former Governor Granholm from Michigan said that there are states that HAVE collective bargaining for their public employee unions that are not broke
Also that there are states that DON’T HAVE collective bargaining that are broke!
Repeat

Only this time – he is telling the truth.
It is constantley being updated twitter feeds and all
plunge right through that line,
run the ball clear down that field,
a score is sure this time
On Wisconsin, On Wisconsin,
fight on for her fame
Fight , fellows, fight, fight, fight,
We’ll win this game!
Hey I grew up in Cleveland and lived in Chicago for many years,
I love Wisconsin and have some great memories of Milwaukee!
The private Island set may not have the kind of appreciation as you and I.
Is it the children’s fault that they do not live with stable and involved parents?
I just saw something very much like this last spring in our local Capistrano School District in California. We had our teachers striking, we walked the picket lines with them. We gathered petitions for a recall election of two School Board Members, we had an election, and WE WON.
and I live in a strongly conservative area. The OC!

They were supposed to desend upon the Protesters in Wisconsin
and straighten them out, you know,
show the American people the mighty numbers of the tea party.
leave their sun drenched private island at this time of year,
only to go to cold, gray, podunky Madison, Wisconsin.
They hate to inturupt their “me time” but hey, aren’t they always on me time?
Around 200 pro-union protesters spent last night at the Capitol in the fourth day of peaceful protests against the bill, which would slash government workers’ pay, pension and healthcare benefits.
Curious minds want to know.
Great topic. For me, I remembered how to use a keyboard and
learned lots of computer skills beyond basic email.
I discovered that writing about something is a great way to
feel better about things that are eating away at you.
Finding that people out there, all over the country and world
for that matter, can arrive at the same or similar conclusions
is empowering, yes, it’s good to know, you are not alone.
It’s also good to read how some else, puts into words, how you are thinking.
Sometimes, they say it better or put in a detail you had not thought of
and then whole idea becomes stronger.
Then there is the sharing of info and links and petitions, all good.
When big news events are happening,
it feels essential to share them with the friends you have come to know on line.
My husband, friends, kids and dogs can only take so much of me
talking about amendments to the healthcare bill or fin. reg. reform…..
Ahh ha….. then …. then….they ask ME, who they should vote for!
HA! So then they LIKE knowing someone that is paying this much attention….
Just where do you get all that info and knowledge.
Your fellow bloggers
I appreciate them all.
Thank you Deygirl and never underestimate yourself.
Today On Chris Mathews, he stated that 51% of Republican Primary voters
believe that President Obama was not born in the United States.
Is anyone surprised?
Government needs to maintain some humanity.
How much humanity can you find in business?
My greater concern is not what Bill Maher or Dr. Cornell West meant to say.
It is what the Right Wing machine will do with their statements.
Dr. Cornell West said he is a secular humanist!
Their listeners don’t care if it is true or what they meant.
They only care that it confirms their fears, Obama is the “Other”
~Someone on the left said so, so it you know it is true~
Just what is Bill Maher up to?
