Update #3: HEALTHCARE REFORM BILL PASSES HOUSE 220-215 IN HISTORIC VOTE!!!

We need to publish the names of the Democrats who voted against the health care reform bill and unseat them in the next election and kudos to Rep Cao (R-LA)for having a conscience.

I wish that there was some procedure for the Sergeant-at-arms to drag these rethugs out of the chamber. Respect and civil debate are words that are not in rethug vocabulary.

Same here..I became so frustrated with the rethugs, I finally had to turn C-Span off. All the rethugs are interested in doing is to delay any proceedings connected to health care reform. The patience the chair showed is something I would not have been able to muster under the same circumstances. I would have preferred socking the rethugs in the mouth !

I also stopped by HuffPo last night…tried to post the word “Test” as no updated posts coming out of moderation were showing up on any of the blogs. The word “Test” went into moderation and I never saw the post, again. HuffPo is really out of whack!

A New Way To Fight Right Wing Trolls on HP

I have used the freedownload version of AVG for seven years and have never had a problem.

Anyway, to jump into the converstion here a bit late. I just came from HP. There are a minion of trolls over there tonight – post after post after post. Flossy is holding court along with several newbies. Trying to post myself was frustrating and useless..just too many trolls and none with a lick of sense. Debating is out of the question. I, too, love a good debate with a conservative and have had many myself. We used to be able to do that on HP all of the time…but that art is long gone on HP these days, The once “liberal” site has become a cesspool of far right-wing rhetoric.

Hi, KarateKid! I was on HP yesterday (as chillfactor) and it really was disgusting! I lost two fans because their profiles were deleted. The board is beginning to display Arianna’s true stance in the political spectrum and she is not in the liberal camp. It is so very nice to be able to come here, express my opinion, and leave without feeling so sick at heart!

Do We Need Trolls?

I cannot think of one good thing to say about trolls…oh, wait…they can be fun to kick around…but for the most part, trolls are nothing but a pain in the ass. The trolls on HP have been allowed to descend into the depths of hell and shoot fire from their delusional, angry, and hate-filled gray head matter they call a brain and remain unchecked. I love debate but trying to make a point with a zoombie is just plain wasted effort….and HP is infected with zoombies…

The Huffington Hypocrisy Strikes Again!

Hi Grabamop (love that moniker) – chillfactor here from HP. I agree wholeheartedly that Arianna, and unfortunately many blogs and news outlets like FAUX are into creating the news rsther than reporting it. It is to the point where I get physically sick from reading the insanity of some of the posts and the number of trolls that have infected the sight. So nice to be able to come here and not to have to “fight” most everyone…

Hi, Keven..I post on HP under chillfactor but changed it to GreatGrannie here….I saw this link yesterday and thought I would give it a try…..I am becoming increasingly fed up with HP…..it is becoming a cesspool of unsubstantiated, misleading articles and headlines….infected with trolls…and comments scrubbed by the dozens…Hume got banned sometime today..you and Agent86 yesterday…HP is definitely not a free speech site…criticize the site or Arianna and out you go…..what is a HuffNo Friday?

NICE TO BE AMONGST SOME OLD FRIENDS!

I so enjoyed HP when I joined in March of 2008 and loved reading and responding to the posts. However, over the summer I started noticing a distinct change in the atmosphere, trolls became rappant and scrubbing of the regulars became more than irritating. Arianna’s true character came to light over her remarks about our president and then when she was cutoff during the ballon boy incident. Her self-importance and arrogance was just too much to disregard.

I am thrilled to see so many familiar monikers here. I am still learning to navigate this site but think I am going to like it here…oh, I am having problems changing my original sign-in password…how do I go about getting a new, permanent one….

I saw that you had been bounced! My monikor at HP was chillfactor and have have seen your posts. Many people are wondering why you got bounced. KevinSeven had this site listed so thought I would join up. HP is becoming quite a cesspool of snitches. A couple others were banned yesterday as well…accusations flying but they think it was SAAB. Seems John is flagging anyone he does not like. He was at it, again, last night. Yet the trolls keep coming back and nothing happens to them. 🙁
