Theology is my favorite subject and people ALWAYS respond to religious imagery. Even the “non-religious”. And what better image than GOD himself? It also leads to a lot of deity based humor at my expense and I am all for that. If you can’t laugh at yourself….. I had used the name YEHWEH(I know there is a different spelling. It has 2) for a long time across many different sites because it is recognizable. After HP banned my YEHWEH account, I went with ADONAI as it was unfamiliar and unique. A lot of people had never heard of it as a name for GOD. I grew attached to it so now I use it in place of YEHWEH. And even if the name and avatar confused people as to the nature of my gender, reading my posts would quickly answer all their questions. They are arrogant,profane, and go on for far too long under the assumption that my opinion is the matter of the day(obviously).
