We kind of got cheated out of our fully celebrating the Biden/Harris victory thanks to The Orange Menace so we're taking this weekend, the first with President Biden officially in the White House, to celebrate their historic and critical win.

To celebrate the inauguration that will (finally!) remove all power from a seditious madman and vest it in principled and compassionate people, the theme for this weekend's music thread is celebrating the new era of President Biden and Vice President Harris.

This weekend's music thread is for songs about the real America, songs about the country and its cities, staying strong and principled and songs reflecting the values and democracy that America really stands for.

To celebrate and share the hope of 2021 being a turnaround year for all of us, this weekend's music thread is about things that are new, hopeful, joyful and just make you feel good about being alive.

Since many can't travel home for the holidays this Christmas, our musical itinerary this weekend includes songs about traveling, places to travel to and from, and songs about home.
