The problem isn't just that Trump is committing crimes in public. it's that he is being allowed to manipulate the workings of the United States Senate in plain sight. Worse yet and a crime, he is interfering in a Constitutional proceeding, impeachment.

The Republican Party has been funneling money from foreign anti-Democratic regimes and "investors" into the nation's political processes for decades. The money is, and has been, used to buy "absolute power" domestically for the Republican Party; and influence and control in American politics for enemies of democracy.
Democrats need to stop running against Trump, and instead run against Trump AND the Republican Party as well as Republican voters. That will sound harsh to most Democrats, but Trump is not the problem, merely a symptom of the problem.
