Weep for the Uvalde parents. They will never again hear the laughter of their children. For the grandparents, uncles, and aunts who will never again receive those precious hugs and kisses from their beloved grandchild, nephew, or niece.

Losing a child at any age is gut-wrenching. But to lose one’s child while attending school, where they are supposed to be safe, is incomprehensible. There is no comprehensive explanation for what took place in Uvalde. None.

Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson epitomizes what excellence looks like to the fullest despite all the obstacles placed before her path — stoically facing a gaggle of stupid questions such as when Lindsey Graham asked her to rate her faithfulness.

Time to call a death cult for what it is and kick over the propaganda they use to excuse their sociopathy. The Republican Party is Pro-Death and must be stripped of its power to inflict more unnecessary death on innocents.

Among my list of pet peeves, is liberal. Is this because the conservatives on FOX made it toxic so I had to choose progressive? Maybe at first. But I did the little researching thing, and prefer left or progressive for several international and historic(al?) reasons.

This weekend's music thread goes out to the brave people of Ukraine defending their nation and the brave people in Russia protesting to stop this ongoing massacre of innocent people. Share songs about cities and countries around the world, as most of the world comes together to support Ukraine and cheer on Russian citizens rallying opposition to Putin and his criminal war.

What stood in Putin's way as the biggest threats to his moving forward with his plan to usurp Ukraine, Eastern Europe and more? The European Union, NATO and the United States. If he could weaken all three of these, if he could get them to become divided and hobbled, he could have far more confidence about marching forward with this conquest of half of Europe if not more. He would be unstoppable.

Two white men from two southern states clutching their proverbial pearls at the thought of having a Black woman on the Supreme Court, oh my, they must think the end of the world is at hand.
