There come times when you have to say goodbye…to friends, lovers and sometimes presidential campaigns. Herman, we oddly knew you but you’re gone now and along with most comedy shows, we will miss the Cain Crazy Train careening off the track of sanity right on schedule.

Kicking and screaming, Cain left the race. From a distance the loud cries of “NO! NO! NO”!/ “NEIN! NEIN! NEIN”! or even 9-9-9, could be heard. Which rather worried me because 9-9-9 is the number for emergency services in the U.K. His last words as he was bundled sobbing into a Mini van were, “I could have been somebody. I could have been contender”.
