I did not watch it partly because after the super bowl I will not watch CBS anymore and partly because it just sounded stupid to me and more like a witch hunt for the corp masters than doing anything out of the goodness of their hearts.
Very insightful piece. I happen to agree with you 100%. If people do not wake the hell up, we are going to find ourselves being ruled by a Palin cabal. People say not to obsess on her but I think different. While I am not obsessing, I am listening and making note of every move she makes. All the christian right needs is one more term in the WH to set this country back 50 years and the Supreme Court gave them a leg up just a few weeks ago. If anyone thinks Murdoch will not take advantage of that present, then they are naive. They almost obtained their objective with Bush. They just ran out of time. Obama being elected is just a simple roadblock to what these people ultimately want to accomplish. If The Family can carry on with their antics for all these years, the group as a whole can be patient for another four years.

Great piece and one genre that I have never put much thought or attention to. I have never really explored the type of genre you speak of, I don’t even like the Friday 13 or other such movies. In Cold Blood, even though a (sort of)classic of the crime genre, made me sick to my stomach. I know it happens in real life, I am not naive but I guess I just don’t want to watch it by choice.
