» Posted By SallyT On January 14, 2012 @ 1:55 pm Okay, I don’t know if I will do this right but I will try. If it doesn’t work, just know i was trying to get Mickael Jackson and Black or White on.
» Posted By SallyT On January 14, 2012 @ 1:37 pm Thank you GOW for sharing with us. I grew up in Missouri and some in my family weren’t as open minded as yours. But, I learned they were wrong. It took me moving away to see how wrong they were and dealing with a little discrimation against me in another area. Too many of those I know that never left good ole Mo still have hangups. My children never saw color and my grandchilden are way pass that and sexual discrimation, too. I am older than you, I am sure. Each generation takes us further. » Posted By SallyT On January 14, 2012 @ 1:19 pm Kesmarm, both of these bring a tear to my eyes. I just watched the movie Amistad again the other day. Humans were cruel animals in our history. And, there are still too many that aren’t tamed, yet. » Posted By SallyT On January 14, 2012 @ 1:06 pm Revelations of a 24-Hour MSM Cycle KQ, you got to have funny underwear to get into that temple. I was working with a very nice Mormon lady that had married in the temple. She told me about how they baptize the living for people that have died before being baptised. She joked that she might get me yet. I told her that if I died before her and I was up in my heaven partying and drinking and dancing and somebody comes over and tells me I now have to go to the Mormon side, well, she may not be in hell but she sure will be if she pulls me over! » Posted By SallyT On January 12, 2012 @ 7:44 pm Hooray, the wicked witch is gone??? » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 8:20 pm Cl, sweetie, I haven’t even found it possible with rose color lens. But, you will never hear me call you a fool venture or anything like it. » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 8:14 pm FC, I like to read a little of everything. That way I have an excuse for the confused look on my face and those deep lines on my brow. (Truth is, I am too lazy to go get new glasses. I hate trying on a new pair and finding one that compliments my aging face. There just aren’t any that make your double chin and turkey neck look good!) » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 5:45 pm But, FC, there is chocolate milk in the hind tit. » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 5:35 pm Cher, I don’t read The Nation much at all anymore. But, if I ever need someone to read me a bedtime story, I want Katrina vanden Heuvel to do it. Her voice is so soft and soothing. She will put me to sleep in no time. » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 5:33 pm KQ, I don’t know but I would suggest we get there early!! » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 5:03 pm Okay, for a really important question. How many people do you think showed up to volunteer to smoke a joint once a week for 20 years? I got an idea that it was more than the 5100 that they used in the study. 😉 » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 4:30 pm 2012 New Hampshire Primary Thread Khirad, I hope he doesn’t take any from the Senate or the House. We need all we have there! » Posted By SallyT On January 11, 2012 @ 12:16 am CL, you have valid concerns there. I don’t really go along with prayer groups in general anyway. Prefer to keep those to myself. I am mostly concerned that we don’t have a followup to Obama. She was just mentioned in that conversation I stated. The Republs have Christie in mind. We have ???? I don’t see it being Biden. I mentioned the Governor of Montana to Bito. I like that guy and he is a real cowboy. But, I probably don’t know enough about him either. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 11:40 pm AdLib, if Gingrich is as self-serving as you have said, do you really think he will back off of Romney? He has been pissed that the powerstobe Republs having been supporting him and made comments to that effect. All he has to lose is this race. He will still have his books and speaking fees. Oh yes, and his history teachings. Why not go for broke. Be the guy that bucked the establishment. Does he have that in him or is he all talk? » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 10:58 pm Bito, I have been looking for Obama’s numbers in New Hampshire and can’t find them but I did find the following. The guy with the boot on his head looks like Castro to me. http://americanglob.com/2012/01/10/obama-lost-new-hampshire-primary-votes-to-vermin-supreme/ » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 10:52 pm Bito, are you ignoring me???? Don’t make me look like Perry! » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 10:03 pm Murph, I don’t watch FOX, so, who are they for now? I heard some talking on MSNBC that the powers of be are telling Gingrich to back off of Romney and his business past because he looks like he is going to be the nominee and they don’t want him torn up too much. So, has FOX now got behind Romney? Of course, they say the south will be a real test for Romney, however. Unemployment in SC is 9.9. It was 5.5 in Iowa and NH. Bain is not popular in SC, either. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 9:47 pm Well, Cher, dead looks good next to Ron Paul. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 9:28 pm Cher, he looks like that guy that was on Little House on the Praire. I think it was Merlin Olsen or something like that. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 9:22 pm I like how one of these commentators said it was a win for Utah tonight. Two mormons in the top 3. Yah, 2 mormons, 2 catholics, one old loony toon, and one that can’t count pass 2. Winners! » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 9:16 pm Okay, Bito, a governor….how about Brian Schweitzer. To much a long shot? I like that guy myself. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 9:08 pm Ad Lib, she might be a good one. Like Cher, I think we need to get someone ready to run. You know that the Repubs have Christie in mind. I don’t like that guy at all. Elizabeth probably could handle him. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:58 pm That in combination with “Corporations are people, folks” will be great sound bites for sure. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:43 pm CL, and he is from Utah and you don’t get far as a Dem there. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:39 pm KQ, I think that is great grandpa and great grandma. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:37 pm Cher, I am with you on her not being interested. She must be tired. But, VP is nothing like SOS. Gee, she hasn’t been home very much, has she? The VP doesn’t do that much traveling. But, I do think we have to look at the election after Obama. It is going to take more than 8 years to get the things done that have to be done before they “F” it up again! » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:35 pm Roosevelt replaced Wallace with Truman. Of course, Roosevelt had been there longer than any other president. But, they replaced Wallace because they didn’t think he would get elected after Roosevelt and they were looking ahead. True that Truman only squeaked by in getting elected but he did it and won. I agree with you that Hillary probably isn’t interested. However, it is something to think about when looking at the election after Obama. » Posted By SallyT On January 10, 2012 @ 8:31 pmComments Posted By SallyT
