Meanwhile, I would like to echo what AdLib said about the four of us being pleased as punch with how AdLib’s project has evolved, and I thank all of you for making a largely serious effort to move us forward. I could live with a little less of the “how are you?” “fine, and you?” stuff, but I have seen much, much worse. Me? I would like to see this remain a fairly serious blog. You know that I don’t mind the occasional sharp elbow, especially when a weak point is made. I like to think of this as the training ground where one prepares for battle against the reactionaries in your real life. You cannot expect to best them if you have no taste for conflict. But I appreciate that some people would as soon have no more acid reflux than can be absolutely avoided. That makes sense. Hell, some people hope to live a long time. Crazy, eh?
