What Did Donald Trump Know About Flynn’s Russian Calls and When Did He Know it?

Russia is in mourning because Flynn is gone. What does that tell you after the acting, fired AG had warned the WH that Flynn was ripe for blackmail from the Kremlin?

Everything else that points to collusion is so eloquently laid out in your article pointing to the inevitable conclusion that trump and his team knew what was going on, then created a smokescreen to deflect the thing they feared the most. Being exposed as the corrupt players that they are. I think it’s too late to put the genie back into the bottle.

In reality trump knows nothing about his real job, but everything about the dirty tricks planned by his cronies.

The thorough investigations should have started before he was sworn in, but now they are critical for the nation and national security.

My problem is, how can anyone believe a word coming out of the WH after the daily lying that began on the escalator of the trump gaudy tower with paid actors cheering for him, continued through his terrible campaign, and grew into daily falsehoods from twitler and his minions? You can’t, and pence not knowing about it until the 9th of February, is impossible to swallow too.

I implore the news sources I respect to stick with this, and if repubs still refuse to investigate, which shows guilt clearer than anything else, dig deeply until no rock is unturned and nail this group of domestic terrorists. Nail them to the walls of their jail cells.

Planet Earth calling trumpdom!!

Right! So why did he resign again?

Sounds very much like trump saying that the law doesn’t apply to him and yet his “Muslim ban” is in limbo. I wonder who fed him that delusional obvious lie, or maybe as always, just made that up?

God Condemns Muslim Ban – Trump Tweets Against “So-Called God”

Trump will go down in history as the so-called president with the most f’ups in his first 3 weeks or even more in the first 100 days. One thing he won’t be able to do is trash tweet or sue the historians. His bed is made, and there is nothing else to do but to lie in it. He is already a laughingstock the world over. I can’t tell you just how satisfying that is.

😆

My spell checker is as nutty as trump and changes my words to words that I didn’t type, but at least they are spelled correctly even if my sentences make no sence.

I read that he’s taking medication for partial balding and one of the side effects is impotency. The others range from depression, confusion and mood swings. None of these symptom are responsible for atrocious spelling.

Sorry trump, your/you’re just dumm and like a lose cannon attaking Denmakr, proving your insticts are lousy.

You never know what his next lie is going to be so it could be under anything. Even monsters under his bed with press passes.

I forgot to mention that your trump tweets were incredible.

Are Trump and Bannon Trying to Inspire a Terrorist Attack?

I can’t tell you how disappointing it is that so few Dems in Congress, the Senate, have not stood up to trump when they have the chance. If repubs can band together behind trump to destroy America, surely when so many citizens are out in the streets they could stand behind them. If all they can think about is reelection, maybe they really should be worried about losing their seats in the next one.

I don’t like May. Thought she was a lousy Home Secretary who tried to cover up her mistakes or blamed others. She’s bombastic and ruthless. She has also not been elected by the people.

It also is apparent that her hands are bigger than trump’s. There are over 300,000 signatures from people against his visit. Usually 100,000 signatures are enough for a discussion in Parliament. I hope the protesters have stocked up on tomatoes and eggs.

Love the article, AdLib!!

I think they already have been planning that terror attack against the majority of Americans, the world, and even against the fools who voted for him by trying to shit on the Consitution, and having zero respect for the law.

Amazing how the orange blob is being led to the slaughter by the man he trusts the most. Bannon is toxic, and no matter how they try to humiliate the free press, this is their chance to do the right thing by telling the truth. All of it. The world needs heroes now. Protest until they cave as they already have on so many issues they thought they could get away with.

Thanks, AdLib!

As a woman living in a country of aging chauvinists, I was so inspired by this march and all the marches across the country and internationally. This is a great tribute to their strength and unwavering conviction to make their/our voices heard. A fitting tribute to women opposing trump, and all of us who stand in solidarity with oppressed women and the fight against the dehumanising of minorities everywhere.

Wishful thinking I suppose, AdLib. With all the info about trump already out there, it would be a chance to redeem themselves and redo their image from abetting a criminal/criminals, to abiding by the law because no matter what trump thinks, they do apply to him too.

Agree, the cowards and trump enablers have to be voted out. They don’t speak for the majority of Dem voters. Last time I heard, about 40% for, does not beat out over 70% against.

Loved that comment/quote. How very true.

If there is proof, and I believe there already is and they’re stalling, why wouldn’t the FBI arrest those involved? I’m sure that it would be 2/3s of the people he has picked for his cabinet, and I would imagine, most involved in his campaign. They didn’t quibble about smearing Clinton during her campaign. In fact right up to the election.

Nobody is above the law. And what use are laws if they can’t be enforced?

Oh I’m also sure there will be no end of outrage and protests from the public, there already is, and as I mentioned before, recently, almost 3 months of street protests brought down Park Geun-hye of S. Korea.

For the last three nights, I dreamt that as he was about to take the oath, when FBI agents crowded around him and his goons, snapped on the handcuffs, and led them out for all the world to witness. Goes without saying that I woke up every morning with a huge smile on my face.

Very disappointing that not one D senator has joined the Inauguration boycott. Not one pair of ball between them, they claim to represent you.

I’ll be wearing black indefinitely from tomorrow.

» Posted By Kalima On January 19, 2017 @ 3:11 pm

No, I don’t think he will last four years, maybe not even one. Usually it’s well into their term in office that accusations come to light and actions are taken leading to impeachment or arrests. This is someone going in as the President of the United States, who has lied his way through to a primary nomination; and has dealings with a country that without a doubt interfered with a GE of a sovreign country and made a mockery of the democratic process. How can this man be allowed to take the oath of office on Friday? It’s beyond me.

What after everything we already know about him and the Kremlin puppets he has nominated for his administration, is the “smoking gun” that will see him and his henchmen removed in handcuffs? Stay tuned!!

All those who didn’t vote in November, share equal blame with those who voted for him.

That’s not our problem. If people continue with the HP formula of ranting after only reading the header, that’s their problem too.

Your point about them not reading to the end is in total conflict with the premise that you have been trying to make. If they don’t read it to the end, how are they absorbing satire as fake news?

Hope you find a more compliant site soon. Good luck!

Right at the bottom of funksands’s article there is this, his disclaimer, and if I who only has viable sight in my right eye can see it, why can’t anyone else with reading comprehension?

A label on satirical pieces for non-existent trump voters who would rather scratch out their own eyes than to gain enough interest to come to our site out of millions on the Internet, seems about as far fetched as trump keeping a promise to the people who voted for him.

Your concern would be better served for the people who didn’t vote for him but will suffer greatly because of it, and not only with those who enabled it out of stupidity and anger.

(thanks to the Washington Post for their generous aid in the preparation of this satirical piece)
*Free after redemption of mail-in rebate
**Totally not affiliated in any way with Donald Trump or his family businesses, which are in the blindest trust ever created

With this I end this discussion as there seems nothing more to say when a member who said he was leaving, continues to tell us how we should run our site and for whom we should change it after 7 years. Sorry. Not going to happen. We choose freedom of expression over blind conformity any day.

Instead of criticising The Planet, you need to vent at the real sources of fake news, lies and deliberate disinformation. Namely repubs in Congress who regularly pass out disinformation, lies and fake news. Then rant over at Fox News, Hannity and the liars out there who no longer care about the truth so spend their days making up vicious bullshit. Could be a more constructive way to spend your busy days while we huddle in a corner to pat each other on the back for being so clever and laugh hysterically because unlike you, we have nothing better to do with our time than to spend it on writing articles just to confuse RWingers who don’t come to read here. The Planet is a think tank, not a daycare center. No, not more satire, that’s just a dose of old-fashioned sarcasm.

Hi funk. Have been invading your post since yesterday without letting you know how much I really enjoyed it. Without laughter we are doomed, so thanks for providing it here for us.

» Posted By Kalima On January 10, 2017 @ 7:30 pm

Just to clear a few things up. I cannot come to grips with the fact that you keep insisting that satire, an art of ridicule mostly aimed at politicians and bad leaders dating back to the ancient Greeks and the Roman Empire, is fake news. That was what my sentence about “How on earth….” actually meant.

Secondly, if you did not receive an email from Admin telling you that you were banned, then you were not banned. Once banned you would never have been able to login again. So your problem was most likely a technical glitch, and we would appreciate if you refrained from suggesting it was anything else. We don’t censor members. We censor or remove trolls who disturb conversations and post fake news.

Stating that The Planet is all about satire only confirms that the only place on this site that you have ever visited, is our Home Page. That is the sad thing here because you have missed some great and insightful conversations from passionate people who care about others both at home and abroad.

Being as you can’t stop yourself from further insults about this site and our members. Bon Voyage!

» Posted By Kalima On January 10, 2017 @ 5:19 pm

You should maybe review our FAQ, About Us and Categories to understand that anyone is welcome to write about anything they choose to write about whether humorous, satire, and personal opinions on past or current issues (The POV after Planet stands for Point of View) so any subject the members want to write about.

We are not a news site and have never claimed to be, there are many of those out there to choose from. We are about discussions, and this article certainly does lend itself to discussion. How on earth is this “Fake News?”

This is a Progressiv site and the people you claim would not understand it or would not know the difference between truth and parody or satire do not come to read here.

Instead of insulting our site and the author who took time to write this for us, either write something yourself or by all means find somewhere more satisfactory for your clicks. The last thing we need is to be dictated to on how to run our site and what we can or cannot publish. It goes against everything that The Planet stands for and why we started it.

The Trump Survival Guide – Tips for Surviving the Next Two Years

I agree, and also with not becoming too despondent about things that haven’t even happened yet or might actually never happen. We know what trump is up to by the many rich dudes he has nominated or has around him him after blasting Clinton about her Wall Street connections. We know that the only thing that powers him is money, fame and retaliation. He’s clueless about policy so will ensure that when he leaves or is thrown out of office, he will have benefited greatly in one way or the other. I also don’t think for a moment that he will endure being bossed around by the gop. At the end of his term, republicans will once again have shown the country and the world how incompetent they are when it comes to the economy, and that if they try to repeal the ACA, they have no viable plan b. A republican built powder keg will blow up in their faces, and hopefully in 2018.

Your article was a breath of fresh air when too many people seem to have gone into hibernation to lick their wounds. Now is the time to work on grassroot projects. A time to come together to strengthen goals and fight hard against the craziness to come. It’s also a time to buy plenty of eye drops and tissues for the tiredness that daily eye rolling can bring, and those tissues will be useful for wiping our eyes when we have to laugh too hard, or wipe beverages off our computer screens as the insanity unfolds.

Happy New Year. funk! It will be tough but it will also be what we choose to make it.

» Posted By Kalima On January 3, 2017 @ 6:32 pm

Love the title, funk. I suppose that the incoming trump presidency is much like going on a dangerous safari with guides who don’t know the way, the way home, or how many potentially hungry wild animals are waiting to eat you for lunch.

I especially agree with the need to form an interest and participate in local and state elections if you are not already involved in getting Progressives elected in the midterms. This is what Bernie Sanders has been working on since before the Democratic Convention last year.

Working so hard to ignore trump in the new year, but I dislike ignorance and bad manners, and I post news stories and opinion pieces on MB. It’s hard to switch off when the new leader of a powerful nation is a lying, self enhancing, foul-mouthed ignoramus of gigantic proportions who might start another war just because he feels slighted. Ignore him while watching him like a hawk.

Posted this yesterday and think this writer has the right ideas too. That instead of feeling limp and dejected, Progressives should be emboldened and ready to fight back. They feed off of your fear and desparation, so don’t feed the trolls.

Love it, AdLib! The graphic is enough to scare not only small children, but sane adults and animals too.

Yes, trump and his know-nothing administration would like nothing better than to watch people cry at his planned bad endings. The irony is that for them, a bad ending is what is in store for them if he makes it through the 4 years intact.

Looking at him now, he doesn’t look all that healthy. Overweight with Boston bag sized sagging under his eyes, I can easily imagine a stroke or cardiac crisis not too far down the road. Even his flaky, “fake” doctor seems to agree.

Better Understanding Trump Voters By Getting into Car Accidents With Them

You are right. If that’s all we have then let’s watch the demise of the demigod, and the admiration he so longed for. Many of his businesses are not doing well, so I hope it hurts him where he’ll feel it the most.

As for the suffering of his supporters, I wish that I could feel sorry for them, but I don’t. Their selfish and destructive behaviour has put millions in danger of falling through the cracks. For that alone, I wish them the same too.

Protests always make the government uneasy, and not all countries send out their armies to shoot people in the streets. Protesting is s democratic right. Use it often, wisely, and without violence and it can move mountain. Every journey starts with the first step.

» Posted By Kalima On December 14, 2016 @ 3:02 pm

If it wasn’t such an unpalatable prospect of seeing trump’s fat, wrinkled arse sitting in the Oval Office tweeting insults and upending the lives of millions more who were not trump voters, I would be gleefully rubbing my hands together hoping to see him implode. As it is we will just have to wait until “his cluelessness” trips up. And trip up royally he will. 2017 will certainly be a challenge but continuing protests have toppled many around the world. The most recent being the corrupt president of S. Korea. Nothing is impossible; except for maybe the sun moving around the earth in a circular orbit.

Thinking about the “inauguration”, I have to cringe at the possibilities of shadows and smoke filled entrances to the sound of Queen’s “We are the champions”, a 16 round wrestling match with the repubs he defeated in the primaries, or worse.

» Posted By Kalima On December 14, 2016 @ 1:36 pm

Great analogy, AdLib, even though it had to come at an unnecessary price.

Yes, Mr. Reckless SUV, you certainly are an arsehole for not caring about the welfare of other drivers just to satisfy your own needs. Your own ego.

I’ve been asking the same question. What happens when the penny finally drops for the trump voters?

For someone who railed against Clinton’s connections to Wall Street, and then fills his cabinet positions with millionaires and billionaires, you would think that the realisation should have already begun. Even someone from Goldman Sachs who were responsible for causing the worldwide financial crisis in 2008 that President Obama worked so hard to fix. Scumbags! His withholding of his tax returns just weeks before his “inauguration” should have set off alarm bells way before now, but no, the hate is too great to control.

I’m with you 100% on the need to fight the insane coming 4 years with resistance. Absolutely a must to vote in the midterms to relieve Congress of its growing rubbish heap. To not vote is letting down democracy in America as much as the repubs have and trump plans to do.

Even though he was defeated in a less than honest fashion, Bernie Sanders has never stopped working to get Progressives elected to the Senate and the House. He is 74, and has more passion and energy than most Dems in Congress. They should be ashamed of themselves, and if they don’t work harder for the citizens who elected them, they should be voted out of office.

These two recent articles have their fingers on the pulse too.
