Unfortunately, Republicans often ONLY focus on what's happening at their own breakfast table, and seem to be incapable to concentrate on any kind of injustice, as soon as it's their NEIGHBOR, rather than a family member, who's suffering from it.
From the party that brought you, "Shutdown at the Oh No Corral" comes a new, charm offensive...though they don't understand the phrase too well ("So we need to be offensive in a charming way?")

Goodell stated, "These women are trying to corner me in a tight space, deliver a knockout blow to my head then drag me out of the NFL. It's an outrage! I'm not resigning because their claims aren't true, I don't tolerate violence against women...really wish I could pound that into their heads."
We can scream about republican recalcitrance, but when we had power (albeit brief), we spent it developing policies that favored the 1% and submarined any efforts to punish those who robbed the bottom 99% percent of their lifesavings. We created the stimulus which was trickle-down lite.
Now, when Trump has pretty much assured his loss in November, Republicans exhibit their self-flattering dishonesty, beating their chests and fanning their brows, claiming that because Trump is a near-certain loser...er...says offensive things about women, they can't support him.
The message here to the media is, quit playing dumb. Accept what is obviously true about Trump and stop asking "neutral" or fair" questions about what he says and does in the pursuit of appearing impartial.

Thinking the unthinkable. As horrible as it is to think of this, the wise are doing just that.
Hillary Clinton has been justifiably frustrated by polling that shows young women preferring to support Bernie Sanders instead of her. What is questionable though is whether playing the gender card to turn that dynamic around to her favor, is helpful or will backfire.
