In Texas we have a Republican Governor who has deregulated a lot of the businesses and cut government agencies that are needed. Deregulation is one of their top talking points.
I am working for a Democratic State Senatorial Candidate running against a GOP incumbent....and it looks like the incumbent will slide to an easy win despite the fact that he is opposed to what most of his constituents want and need.
For those who believe in American Exceptionalism and in America as being the world's greatest democracy, how can that be the case when so many other countries have greater democratic participation than America?
