This weekend's theme is for songs about days of the week, which can also include yesterday, today and tomorrow...or as I am starting to call days, "yestomorrows".
This Labor Day weekend's music thread is dedicated to all workers but also spotlighting the work of our brave men and women who joined the military with the nobility of wanting to protect and promote what's best in America.
I will use this space, and my column, to bring light on issues concerning Social Justice where it relates to the transgender community, as well as share from my own personal journey.
Of the debates I have watched, I was not impressed. The message must be around how they will defeat Trump* restore and shore up our democratic process by making sure our election process is strongly resistant to foreign interference.
Donald Trump shows a striking inability to parse information. He can't order and arrange, or prioritize data in a normal way. So, we get pink elephants like airports in the Eighteen Century, refugees from terror and rampant criminality depicted as villains, and raking as a cure-all for the desiccation of North America. The President seems to be getting worse, and we are all in terror of what he may do.
After having to cave, how small does Trump look now to his rabid cult (at least his tiny fingers now look proportionate to them)? Trump failed and was beaten by a woman which to misogynist believers in Trump, is a double whammy.
I'd really like to start talking about the Middle East again and talking to people that have more than three brain cells, decency and good faith.
PlanetPOV may have had a remodel (try out the rooftop pool with swim-up bar!) but behind the fresh, new look is the same heart and soul of The Planet but with some cool new features!
So...what IS in a name? Our names are probably one of the most fundamental aspects of our identity.
