Was it the original home built by your parents or did they buy it from a previous owner?
I have no idea what that could mean, but wow.
It has a music box in it, and I had wound it shortly after her death.
I keep my earrings inside of it and open and close that thing every morning and every night and for years, the music had wound down and I never rewound it.
Last June, on the 24th, which is the anniversary of her death, I’d been thinking about her a lot.
That night when I went to put my earrings away, I opened the box and the music played.
It made me cry, but in a good way and I left the top up until it played out.
It gave me chills.
Have you ever had dreams where you want to wake up, but you cannot open your eyelids?
Or you want to wake up, and then you wake up but go right back into the dream and realize that you never woke up at all?
I’m not computer literate and still getting the hang of this, so be patient with me!

I wouldn’t say intriguing, but I look forward to posting an article or an opinion to an article that might not be quite the “liberal” way of thinking.
I’ve tried to do that on other blogs, but more times than not I was attacked and viciously attacked personally. The worst is when bloggers attack in groups.
I’ve learned on HP how to play the game, but it sure will be nice to write a differing point of view without having to put up with childishness.
And I am an open minded person, and I can be swayed to change my mind as long as a person respects my opinion and doesn’t call me names.
Some of my beliefs might be controversial because I am not progressive on all things.
But it will be nice to read the opposing viewpoints and learn!
And who knows, maybe we can change a mind or two, or at least gain an understanding.
I just registered today but have been reading the site for a few days and I see very real possibilities for POV.
I look forward to posting articles on issues that concern me and hopefully others, and already love the freedom of posting here without worries of being scrubbed or going into pending!

There has been a definite surge in trolls lately.
There could be some, but I believe that there are trolls on HP that are HP moderators or employees.
I’ve noticed so many of the trolls post things that other posters get scrubbed or even banned for, yet the trolls and their offensive posts remain.
There is an article here on POV that wonders if trolls are needed, and I think HP wondered the same thing and thought that trolls were needed.
So many troll postings are so unbelievable that I seriously doubt anyone, even the troll, believes what they type.
I believe that the possibility exists that HP supplies many of the trolls to stir controversy and for the hit$.

I’ve been reading this site every day since last week after seeing a post about it on HP.
I’ve been debating about registering, and finally decided that today was the day.
I just clicked on the main on HP, I clicked on the comments and my virus protection came up and a Firefox warning came up and said the site was infected with a virus that could enter my PC and obtain personal information.
Scary thing to have happened, being Halloween, but wanted to warn others and ask if anyone else encountered this today.
