I was working in the DC hotel meetings biz in 2007/08, and heard on more than one occasion that people in the loop were expecting the “hammer to come down” shortly. In other words, they knew it was coming, but did nothing to stop it… they just delayed the inevitable as long as they could, hopefully until they were out of office, and therefore blameless. The Secretary of State is married to the biggest cheerleader of globalization, a policy that is destroying the workforce of America. NAFTA turned Mexico’s economy into a hollow shell, and set the mold for wrecking ours. Obama’s efforts to rein in the bankers and Wall Street criminals have been mere talk, no action.
