Julianne at the end of the movie plays her as a harder person and more like the real thing. I think you will like it. » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 9:05 pm Escrib, it is good. I hope you get to see it. Like I said above, Julianne Moore is very good in it. She will probably be nominated for an Emmy. She should be! » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 9:02 pm Escrib, it is good. I hope you get to see it. Like I said above, Julianne Moore is very good in it and captures her » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 9:01 pm Kalima, if she is truly like they showed her in the movie, she was glued to the set. They show her watching everything that is on TV about herself. Even Saturday Night Live. She does like to see herself. Of course, she blames everyone else when she comes off bad. I hope there were really people like those they showed in the movie that called her on it. » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 8:58 pm Murph, you have been great keeping us up on this! I hope we can do away with Hate radio. I see people like Rush just stirring up hate not showing differences in policies or points of view. Just showing what, when, and where to hate. Bye, bye Rush and don’t let the door hit you on the way out. (But, he does have a big target for that door to aim for….) π » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 8:50 pm But, I bet she watched it……… π » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 8:42 pm Sue, I thought they were pretty easy on her in the movie. Showed her as a concerned mother and defender of her own selected values. John McCain came off looking like a nice old guy. Palin was the one for running it negative. The movie let us know she was not prepared to run and she isn’t all that smart. We already knew that. But, she is a great actress and that is how they got her through the campaign. At the end of the movie you see that fame has gone to her head and she isn’t going to go away. Yup, we know that, too!! Darn it!!!! (Julianne Moore was great! She did capture her very well!) » Posted By SallyT On March 10, 2012 @ 8:37 pm Promises Kept by President Obama Yes they really respected W so much that they laid rose thorns at his feet and threw shoes at his head. π » Posted By SallyT On March 9, 2012 @ 12:17 am LIVE BLOG – Super Tuesday 2012 KQ, they are JERKS! Yes it was a “misspeak” but Axelrod was the bigger person. Did you see the note at the bottom of the article? It says: UPDATE: Shortly after we posted the item, Axelrod tweeted to take responsibility for his error: “Guilty as charged! I misspoke during an interview last night and PolitiFact rightly called me on it..” Jerks! But, Obama still got the most votes!!!! » Posted By SallyT On March 7, 2012 @ 11:11 pm Regardless PolitiFact, President Obama got more votes than any of the Repubs candidates. These votes show that people will come out to vote for the President even when the vote is just symbolic. I hope they will do it again come November when those votes will really count! I think this is a good sign! π » Posted By SallyT On March 7, 2012 @ 10:28 pm Khirad, you are right, it is Mister President. I called President Bushie lots of names. And, President Reagan……never mind …….. π » Posted By SallyT On March 7, 2012 @ 7:34 pm Kucinich had some time in the sun way back there but he stayed to long and his brain apparently fried. Oh well, he still has his trophy wife to keep him company and dry his tears. (If she stays now…..) » Posted By SallyT On March 7, 2012 @ 7:27 pm Kes, it went like this: Romney-OH, VA, VT, MA, ID Alaska is still out in the snow. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 10:32 pm I’m glad your night ended well for you, Kes! » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 10:17 pm Well, AdLib, I have never known a plumber to show up on time and when he does, it won’t be done until tomorrow. Leaves you with your water shut off. She just has to know where the main is and she can flush him down real fast and “there goes trouble down the drain, Roto Rooter!” » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 10:02 pm CL, no, I should have been clearer. The upper west of big MO. Harry Truman land. I know all about Springfield and yes they are NUTS there! Always were but they have really gone crackers down there now. They are too close to OK, too. I have a couple of old classmates that moved down there. Their brains have been eaten now. No, it wasn’t anything like that where I am from. Kansas City is more liberal than St. Louis any day. π » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 9:47 pm Well, there you go. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 9:16 pm Gee, and they all look like they took a head shot. What a waste of ammo! » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 9:00 pm How come I just started humming Thriller………….? » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:54 pm Romney/Joseph Smith….all the same to the Show Me State. Murph, I feel for you, sweetie. It wasn’t like that (so dead on conservative) when I lived and grew up there some 30 years ago. Well, at least on the west side anyway. But, even over there has changed allot now. π » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:50 pm Poor Romney, his magic underwear is riding up on him and giving him a wedgie. And, that is really something since that underwear is one piece! » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:41 pm Well, that is obvious. Just look at your face there! Your head on fire with all the excitement. Glad it is a fun night for you. You deserve a smile and hair on fire! Enjoy! π » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:37 pm No surprise Romney taking Idaho. Idaho, Utah, all the same for Romney. Big Mormon population. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:13 pm Oh, AdLib, looks like Romney’s county just came in as he has taken the lead now by 1837. Long night still ahead, tho. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:08 pm Cher, are you trying to replace Rush on the air? You go for it, girl! π » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 8:06 pm That is a good comparison! » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 7:57 pm Must have been a hair clog that both Joe and HP missed in the pipes. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 7:55 pm I know, Cher, and that divided government works so well for us…..don’t think sssoooo! I am hoping that the GOP voters will be so fed up and tried after all this that they won’t get out and vote. AND, we will all be so excited that we will show up in droves! π » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 7:51 pm I get nervous with overconfidence. There is still allot of time before November and things in the economy can change for the worst. I hope no one thinks it will be easy against any of these guys. The voters have made mistakes in the past, ahh Bush twice!. The President will have no trouble in debates with any of these and he will have facts against their lies. Anyway, the President is so much better than any of these jokers but the voters aren’t always awake when they vote. That makes me nervous. We can’t count on all our guys getting out to vote. Let alone all the voting registration problems out there. Nothing is a sure win until the votes are counted and sometimes they need to be counted twice to be sure. I have all the faith in the world with President Obama in the White House. Please, not any of these other guys!!!! » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 7:44 pm Cher, the voters have been insane before, like 2010, and maybe that has woke them up to think before they vote next time. If Santorum wins the nom, well, for me that shows that the GOP party leaders have chose not to worry about the White House but put all their money behind those running for the Senate and House. That worries me. We have to keep the Senate and get back the House and with more seats in both. » Posted By SallyT On March 6, 2012 @ 7:07 pmComments Posted By SallyT
Ted Kennedy is missed by me, too, Lalalu. Especially during all this war on women issues. He did fight to help us often.
