Songs that remind you of your kids?
Oh Boy Goody !!
This is a wonderful song and it’s been covered many times by a variety of various artists
but I like the Kermit version.

I still remember the first time I heard this one …
I was living at my parents house in Ohio.
I knew it was going to be a huge hit, right away!

The Little Right Wing Voice in Your Head

Hey Kalima, I hope the heat is being kind to you over there for once!
I wish we could do a little experiment and replace the fox feed to those commercial establishments with something like Ed Schultz.
Could we expect any changes at the voting booth?

ChoiceLady,
I just sleep so much better at night
if I know that someone at FOX has their eye on that Lindsay Lohan.

» Posted By PatsyT On August 4, 2010 @ 10:01 pm

Gee Kalima, I hope he does charge and charge big time.
If you had to pay for that Foxaganda dribble you would think twice.
It takes away from your beer money!

» Posted By PatsyT On August 4, 2010 @ 7:53 pm

OK, I am going to get this info backed up.
But for now
FOX comes free in most all basic cable & satellite packages throughout the country.
That makes it very attractive to the commercial users.
It is all about penetration

MSNBC is only available for “premium packages”.
Even CNN is not available for all markets unless you
subscribe to the upgraded or premium packages.

Prince Poppycock

On the subject of singing competitions
Last year on American Idol (or America I’m dull)
They had Adam Lambert

Adam was not dull at all! I thought he should be the winner,
but did that happen? No!

This guy won
Kris Allen, not bad, but how can you compare?
It is a singing competition !

I remember kids that were going through that parental approval thing, it’s brutal.
We need all these creative people to keep our own brains from atrophy.
How can we solve anything out there in the world if we cut ourselves off from creativity?

Ahh yes, I would love that too but the ladies had to wear those torturous corsets !
Not the men!
I do like breathing.

Way too funny ! It’s infectious!
I want to make that a ring tone.
Love that film!

Hey Kes, My hubby follows what goes on in the TV world.
But this guy caught my eye.
Yes, he can really sing!
How refreshing that he is so creative and celebrates it !

And on another creative celeb….
Did you catch Lady GaGa on the SB 1070?
Love Her!

SOMEDAYS, IT’S JUST ABOUT A GOOD LAUGH!

Vegas Babe, maybe we should make this a habit….

A woman brought a very limp duck into a veterinary surgeon. As she lay
her pet on the table, the vet pulled out his stethoscope and listened to
the bird’s chest.

After a moment or two, the vet shook his head sadly and said, “I’m so
sorry, your Duck, Cuddles, has passed away.”

The distressed owner wailed, “Are you sure?”

“Yes, I am sure. The duck is dead,” he replied.

“How can you be so sure,” she protested. “I mean, you haven’t done any
testing on him or anything. He might just be in a coma or something.”

The vet rolled his eyes, turned around and left the room, and returned
a few moments later with a black Labrador Retriever.

As the duck’s owner looked on in amazement, the dog stood on his hind
legs, put his front paws on the examination table, and sniffed the duck
from top to bottom. He then looked at the vet with sad eyes and shook
his head.

The vet patted the dog and took it out, and returned a few moments
later with a cat.

The cat jumped up on the table and also sniffed delicately at the bird
from head to foot. The cat sat back on its haunches, shook its head,
meowed softly and strolled out of the room.

The vet looked at the woman and said, “I’m sorry, but as I said, this
is most definitely, 100% certifiably, a dead duck.”

Then the vet turned to his computer terminal, hit a few keys and
produced a bill, which he handed to the woman.

The duck’s owner, still in shock, took the bill. “$150!”, she cried,
“$150 just to tell me my duck is dead?!”

The vet shrugged. “I’m sorry. If you’d taken my word for it, the bill
would have been $20, but with the Lab Report and the Cat Scan, it’s now $150.00.
