Growing up as a slacker in Central Texas it was hard not to have heard of him, or at least heard quotes by him; but working in an underground video store in the late ’90s, I was privy to a section of locally made videocassettes of things the rest of the world has only been able to see on bootleg, if at all, until very recently. While Hicks became a legendary comedian across the pond in England, to this day he remains an underground American hero — a stand-up comedian whose presence can be felt in stand-up comedy today, yet few in the mainstream know his name. An occasionally obnoxious, singularly brilliant orator, he battled substance abuse, conventional wisdom, and late ’80s/early ’90s American societal norms. And while we lost him to cancer just as his career was taking off in his early ’30s, he used his last few years to craft his legacy — a series of rants and stand-up routines that are just as relevant today as they were when he wrote them. » Posted By PatsyT On March 24, 2010 @ 7:05 pm Ha! Opps,
Oh oh,
I better not say that,
she will shoot me from a helicopter.
I like telling them
Jesus was a Jew
Not an American!
and the Bible had not yet been written –
on Bush..
Something about starting a billion ++++ war for the wrong reasons gave people a lot of ammo.
snoozing on 9/11
Ruining the economy was a bit of a issue.
What has Obama done that comes close?
I agree some stuff should should be off limits but again
there is no comparison
Khirad
You are one of the best at putting them in their place
You Totally Rock!
Oh and never forget they can’t touch you when it
comes to great taste in music.
Conservative Fantasies ?
Oooo that is a a bad image
Now I’m going to have to go
watch hours of kitty videos
Again!
If the name fits
WEAR IT
The T Party
Dylan Ratigan had a few of them on today saying
that racism has nothing to do with their cause.
HA what a joke
It’s written all over every aspect of their being.
Thats a whole Lotta Jesus!!
I have to think about those for a bit.
I am sure they could outfit Jesus in fine style.
No matter what his attire
Heavy Robes or say
Minimum attire for those on the cross days.
I must admit I had a strange bit of fun looking up guns
Wow there is Sooooo much on the internet, and I only scraped the surface.
Hope your work day is a good one!

They are so funny- sick but so funny!
Cher can I convert them into images?
I live near a Marine base
I see the guys all the time
They are often at the WalMart
having car washes to raise money
Even if my car is clean I drive by and had them some $$$
I agree, I think Jesus would be old school
and I want a statue like this to put this in my front yard!
I have a feeling many would dump the whole
Jesus thing if they HAD to live up to it.
Jesus really knows his way around a gun, huh?
That Supply Side Jesus
really got me thinking
Thanks Al Franken
True story !
Their leaders are leading off the cliff….
Now I have to go watch kitty videos
I have a hole burned in my retina!
I was just having a chat with my sister about facebook.
My sister lives in a mountain community in So Cal
and is about to start working for the census.
When she told a neighbor what she was going to be doing
That neighbor was aghast.
“Oh I don’t have anything to do with the Government, we home-school our kid and
don’t trust the government at all,
I don’t want the government to know any of my business,
I won’t have anything to do the census.” the neighbor said.”
Yet my sister tells me that the neighbor is on facebook and twitter all day
Telling the world about her business.
Now really, come on
If the gov wanted to find you
you are making it way to easy on the facebook
Turns this couple has just gone foreclosure, lost their home, in debt.
Hmmm no wonder they are hiding.

would buy into the repub spew machine
but nevertheless they have an audience.
So if there is one thing to know for sure,
Dems need to be fully aware that
They will stop at nothing
No lie is beyond the pale
No tactic off limits
and leave nothing to guesswork.
