I’ve been craptured.

Getting there at long last I think, don’t want to say it too loud in case I jinx it.

Nekko feeding time, sorry for the delay.

For some reason I still get emails from there when new articles of my fanned bloggers are up and unfortunately I fanned AH one night in 07′, I think that I must have been drunk, and her new posts are sent to my email inbox along with the others. This is the only time I go there, when I click on the links. I always feel like I need a shower after I’m done and my Mac starts to hiss as soon as I’m there, clever boy. 🙂

Thanks nellie, I will check out the other sites when I have time. Cheers

Although it is not my business, I have a hard time understanding why you stayed long enough to be banned by this bunch of tabloid producing hypocrites.

I had seen it going on since 08 as I’m sure did too. Femi’s banning for no reason was the last straw for me. I left in April this year, knowing that with the amount of pending comments I had every time I posted there, knowing that soon I would lose my temper with their so called policy and the rules of use ignored by the trolls, I decided to stop posting before they had a chance to ban me and have never looked back.

There is no freedom of speech on Huffington, there hasn’t been for years. Time to move on I think.

The Bush gang’s policy about everything they did was “Hit and Run” nothing was planned past Plan A, remember in Iraq they expected flowers and candies.
How could someone so stupid have been allowed to run a country for another 4 years, I don’t get the last 4 years at all, were people sleep walking?

Can you imagine that, a President who actually wanted time to think about what is the best for American soldiers, American interests, foreign policy and last but not least, the Afghan people?

The people of Afghanistan want a secure government, that is number one, they want peace after decades of turmoil and lawlessness, they want education for their children, they want to work and live their lives without conflict, it is their right.

The threat of the Taliban is real and if Georgie hadn’t neglected the war there, the Taliban might not have had the strength to regroup and take back the parts of the country they have gained. I see the problem as Pakistan and their government’s initial reluctance to disperse Al Qaeda and Taliban in their northern provinces, they were allowed too much freedom before they took root there. When you think of all the wasted aid money pumped in by the Bush gang for his imaginary “War on Terror” there, I think a lot of crooked politicians and military high ranking generals, must have been laughing all the way to the bank, just like Bush’s low tax rich cronies were in the U.S.

How to post a photo

Thanks a bunch nellie. I can get photos to show in my post but not the Home Page and AdLib has told me so many times that I’m afraid to ask again, not really though.

I’ve made a copy and promise to practice because I had no idea where to locate the Planet url once I had uploaded the image successfully into my post. Live and learn. 🙂

Do not go gentle into that good night (well, on second thought…)

I don’t know about worse escribacat but she was only 49 and each time she visted her doctor it was the same song, “Mrs.?, you are starting your menopause.”

My mother was a SRN for many years, she knew something was wrong, by the time she collapsed and they had drained 11 liters of water from her stomach wall, decided to operate, it was far too late. The last 6 months of her life were hell.

I confronted her doctor a week after her funeral and gave him hell. My father said he closed his practice after 6 months, probably afraid that I was going to sue him. If I had still been living in England at the time I would have, but my grief stricken father just said, “It won’t bring her back, let it go.”

Good evening BDM, hope you are well?

I find that rather unbelievable about your relatives, but the I remember when my grandmother died suddenly and my grandfather was too numbed by grief to notice his surroundings. A bunch of relatives stormed their house like vultures, by the time I got there from England, I found my grandfather in another room sitting in her rocker and the demolition gang showing their true colours fighting over silverware, cystal wedding presents, anything and everything, I couldn’t find my voice, I was in total shock. When one of them started to take down the curtains to pack, I let out the loudest scream I had ever heard, retrieved what I could from their greedy hands and threw them out. Thank goodness that my grandfather seemed oblivious to their behaviour.

They had just celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary a few months before she suddenly collapsed and died.

I have not told my family members anything yet about how my things will be divided, I want it to be a surprise.

I stumble around all day, it’s my speciality.:)

Don’t get out of the house much on my own anymore, need a chaperone these days not as bad as you might think, all young kids in their 20’s who work for us. A bit of eye candy for this old broad. 🙂

Good afternoon evening bitohistory, hope things are well with you.

We are like two ships passing in the night, I left you a link on “Morning Blog” before I turned in last night, setting your webcam to my correct location. It’s been pouring here since last night, I love the rain.

Respect seems to be a difficult emotion to obtain these days and I would never beg or demand it as someone suggested here the other day.

Thank you for sharing your story escribacat, it made me sad, then made me mad as I recall my own mother’s story of too little too late. Although now more than 2 decades ago, I recall the suffering she endured for the final 6 months of her life and still feel something akin to rage when I think of her doctor being too complacent to order the necessary tests which could have saved her life.

Why I blog, at least

Just a small note. Remember OP CHAOS, many trolls at this time actually boasted about how much they were being payed for each nonsensical, demeaning post they had stick there, demeaning Obama. It was enough to make me feel sick.

Yes there are payed trolls and yes the moderators are the instigators of much of the conflict there by either banning older posters who see through them, pending or scrubbing legitimate opinions, leaving up the s**t encrusted troll posts or as I thought as far back as the end of last year, actually posing as trolls for more clicks for “Miss Thing,”

Destroying Religion: The Essential Task at Hand?

I believe that no child is capable of deciding to become an atheist at the age of eight, this is another thing which bugged me,the need to be seen as a great mind at this early stage of his development.

Yes this need to compete, to always be right even when you are wrong to put ourselves above all others, not care about another’s feelings, does start in early childhood and usually with sibling rivalry then later with peers. Most people grow out of it, some never will.

Hi kesmarn I saw your comment and wanted to reply to you, although I’m quite done here.

This is precisely the kind of people I don’t have time for, the ones who would make jokes at the expense of others and to be pompous enough to believe they are being so clever and making a valid point.

To me it seems like the behaviour of a closet psychopath, although I think he may be a coward and would never harm anyone physically. I have never had time for people without a social conscience and they were never a part of my life for too long.

» Posted By Kalima On November 24, 2009 @ 6:38 pm

Ok kev, I have been accused of a lot of things during my lifetime but having a “closed mind” hasn’t been one of them, especially from a stranger.

This conversation is now closed for me, it has become quite tiresome.

» Posted By Kalima On November 23, 2009 @ 4:31 pm

The last word kev?

I’m pleased to inform you that it didn’t sting one bit.

» Posted By Kalima On November 23, 2009 @ 2:02 am

I demand nothing from you, if you have something to say to me, do it in an email please, that is what respect is all about.

Just for the record before I forget, I gave my opinion.

O-pin-ion
noun.

A view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.
