God, two new legs, two new arms and hands, a right hip and please stop this world from spinning the minute I wake up. Ta ever so.

The 7 Mountains of Influence In Culture and Why You Should Be Concerned

Still we chose to believe what we believe, so what?

» Posted By Kalima On December 21, 2009 @ 1:34 am

K are you home?

I spit on help self books, what do they know?

» Posted By Kalima On December 20, 2009 @ 6:31 pm

Gosh Sue, now you made me cry on my Monday morning and I thank you for my tears. (((hug you)))

I feel sorry for your nation, I really do. My German grandparents taught me that the best we can do is to help another human, regardless of colour or creed. I wish that I could share this with the world, but I can’t.

Does Anyone Feel the Same as I?

Thank you boomer, I muddle through. If I could make a wish list, one more innocent Christmas would be high on that list, these times pass us by too soon.

My thoughts are with you too. ((((hug))))

I too feel lost this time of year boomer. My best memories of Christmas were during my childhood, my loving grandparents, my mother,. and I have lost them all too soon. I try to continue our wonderful family traditions each year, but it is somehow never quite the same.

MORALE

Before I start to say what what is really on my mind, I have to say that I’m inspired by articles like this and many more, however I might disagree.

The man you chose, is but a man. Perfect, no. In tune with all your needs, no. Aware of all your needs, yes. Always able to satisfy all of you, no. Still I feel you are luckier than most of us.

Wow Khirad, that is a whole lot of “nothing” wrapped into one post.

My question is, when do we stop to think only about ourselves, I really need to know, tell me when?

I spend such a short time each day thinking about myself, I think I need to join a seminar to teach me that I’m more important than anyone else.

My other question would be, if I was an American now, would I just be a Dem or a progressive?

I tend to have low expectations, life’s lessons, but still would say that my glass is half full, who am I??

Sheesh!

It was tongue-in-cheek and yes I know, my friend used to share her earlier ones with me.

» Posted By Kalima On December 19, 2009 @ 9:05 pm

Gosh where do I sign up to get a message from your President?

I may not be an American but I certainly fought for him on Huff for more than 2 years.

Anyone who shares your enthusiasm will be balanced at the end of this journey. Don’t give up hope for change, the wheels are already turning, it just takes time. I believe that your President wants the best for all of you, he was just knocked a little off course by all of the obstructions he faces but he is still planning the path for the future, brick by painstaking brick.

For what? 🙂

Here in Japan I have the same National Insurance plan as my Japanese hubby. I pay only 30% of my regular hospital out patient bills. MRI and CT’s are a litte more expensive but still very cheap.

The only thing not covered are major diseases like cancer, you have to have a separate, private policy for that. We pay about $100 each every month and are covered. I just can’t understand the obstruction and gutting of your HCB, I have out of work and sick friends in your country, it really makes me mad too.

And the Repubs say our NHS stinks, it’s not perfect but it still works.

My father will be 87 this month, he suffered a stroke in 99′, he gets all his help, caregivers, cleaners, laundry and medication free. He receives about 45 Pound a week, he tips his caregivers and the other people who work for Social Services because they don’t earn very much for all the work they do.

I don’t have to worry as much about him now, even though I’m thousands of miles away, he is being taken care of. So much for the Repub lies.

Rashomon 3: Eleven views of Copenhagen deal

I second that emotion, as we say over here, “Fuck em hard.” Well actually that would only be me saying that and to think that I’m met some of my friends there and even used to like it.

I would recommend large doses of Prozac for the majority of HuffPo writers and maybe a triple dose for HRH. They really should proclaim that they are now a fully-fledged RW blog, join Drudge and Faux News, and stop wasting everyone’s time and effort.

Ok, I’ll get on with my cleaning then and see you later. *wavesherduster*
