Displaying 9,271 To 9,300 Of 9,743 Comments A New Way To Fight Right Wing Trolls on HP I forgot to say. I love the graphic. It’s got that whole old Hollywood “B” movie feel. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 2:05 pm I agree AliMB who is a conservative poster I’ve tried to get on board but she does not post on huffy much anymore so I can’t find her. She is conservative but a more reasonable type. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 2:03 pm Great to have you on board! » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 2:01 pm Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome! » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 2:00 pm I don’t know if trolls are set up but they are definitely welcomed. That fact that progressives are banned all the time and Ramirez was never banned based on the outrageous things he’s said is the double standard the us to get the what I call clicks and giggles by making money like you said. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 1:58 pm Well said. I find myself lately just doing cameo appearances on huffy. If I see an poster I like I usually just say hi. So I guess they have achieved their goal of making it a social network. Like any operation that has big money behind it huffy has excellent technology and they know how to market to their customers to get you addicted to their product. Face it huffy is the Walmart of the progressive blog world. Drudge is just K-Mart which is a step lower because they are selling an inferior product. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 10:58 am I never understand why people are so worried about loyalties on blogs to be honest. I blog where I want to including huffy. It’s never been and either or proposition with me. I blog more and more here only because I’m grossly limited in what I can say on huffy that it’s not worth my while to blog their much. The comment system on huffy is perfect for the quick responses not do but we don’t have a multi-million dollar budget to set up a independent comment system. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 31, 2009 @ 10:39 am HuffNo Friday – Topic of the Night – Which Way Afghanistan? I don’t disagree with that point at all. But those 90% will just go back to their warlord ways and what central government there is will be taken by the Taliban. That is the same thing that happened in 1990. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 9:59 pm The problem is one of proximity to hot spots as well. Somalia has militants but they are not as big a threat because of where they are located. I agree with all the arguments about positive efforts making less terrorist. But face it where did most of the terrorist come from on 911? Saudi Arabia and Egypt that have more schools and hospitals than Afghanistan. But it wasn’t until they could congregate in a country that was not contained where they became a real threat. I thinks it’s just as pollyanic a view that the terrorists will love or even accept us just by being nice to them as it is that we can fight them into submission. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 9:09 pm That’s what America mistakenly thought after the Russian occupation. Why didn’t the Afghan nationalists take over that time? The militants will try to reestablish the Taliban government if we summarily withdrawal. The fact that these tribes exists means that the Taliban who is the only cohesive group will take over again. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 8:13 pm Excellent post I learned allot from it. I feel leaving Afghanistan the way it is, is worse than leaving Iraq because at one time Iraq did have a structured society. I know what we can do is limited but I just don’t want to leave female Afghans with the Taliban types again. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 8:07 pm Especially to the women of Afghanistan as well. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 6:18 pm There probably are no good answers with Afghanistan and that’s the problem. I think it’s a region that has to be contained because no matter what we do the region will be a place where real threats exist. Anything we do there should be limited by understanding that no matter what we do the results will be limited as well. The real problem like you said is that we have no good partners over their in the Afghan government or people. Anything we do has to have a well defined exit strategy associated with it. I would not let the Taliban of the hook like that. The more than just enabled Al Qaeda. They constructed a country that was Al Qaeda’s world view. To me they are our enemies as well because they are the realized vision of Al Qaeda. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 5:45 pm 😆 We certainly hope but she is trying to pull a Murdoch. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 8:49 pm 😆 excellent. Tom Morello might be the most underrated guitarist of all time. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 11:53 pm Wow incredible. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 11:48 pm We should do this puzzle. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 11:39 pm Kewl and Trippie dude. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 11:34 pm Damn you beat me to it. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 11:33 pm And now for a little something completely different. » Posted By KQµårk 死神 On October 30, 2009 @ 10:58 pm Woohoo!
