The hate is building at such a rapid rate. Where are the brakes for this situation? I’m beginning to think no matter how much better Obama made things, it just wouldn’t be enough to dent the hatred and they would actually prefer to go down as a country rather than see Obama succeed.

It made me think that dems don’t call the other guys out on TV like this for all the stuff that Fox should be retracting and therein lies my frustration.
I’m not talking about yelling over one another, but Bbart asked for a retraction on something and he got it. If there was any validity in what he was saying he would have moved on and let Schuster do his job and interview him.
But he was right in asking for it and others should be calling for retractions before granting interviews, at least sometimes.
I want a push back. This was about one stupid tweet by Schuster, while Fox needs to retract at least half of their daily meandering content.

Even Jon Stewart took up the cry that Obama used teleprompters in an elementary school classroom, which wasn’t true but reported as though it was, and he ridiculed Obama at length. If he’d fact checked he would have found that Obama said he used them for a speech given to faculty and officials, but not for talking with the kids, however the prompters were still in view.
Jon bashes the President sometimes, but usually for something he actually did, not a fabricated talking point.

I thought he offered some excellent ideas, like the $10,000 tax credits if your in school or forgiving your college loan after 10-20 years, and made a great point with renewable energy being a good idea regardless of what you think about climate change.
Seems he realized that things weren’t going to go the way he hoped so now it’s on to the next plan and he was able to convey that. It’s like he turned a page.
He’s not quitting!! And while the speech wasn’t passionate, I feel renewed that this year we will “get er done”.
