I think Canada is a little like France. You don’t sneeze without the permission of the unions. There’s a lot of newcomers here and a lot of new people feeling their way around, and maybe feeling kind of intimidated by some of the posters. I felt the same way. I’m really shy and not sure I express myself very well sometimes, but I finally got the nerve up to join a few months ago after being egged on repeatedly by my friend, who joined way back in 2009. It was sincerely scary. But, I was welcomed with open arms and everyone here has been very nice. And no one has made fun of me even though I’m kind of goofy. There is a lot of intellect here; it’s the “Best and the Brightest” from the old HP days in many ways. I can’t believe how adlib keeps it all together, frankly.
