Buddy,” That kind of thinking makes it logical to for them to take everything they can get, with no obligation to anyone to “give back.” » Posted By Gransview On February 19, 2011 @ 8:42 am Very informative, Abby. Thank you! I remember, with fury, 2 years ago when we had bailed out the Banks and AIG. Yet when it came to “Bonus Obligations,” Our own Timmy Geithner argued they “Couldn’t break their contract!” We must pay them what they are “entitled to.” How is this situation in Wis any different? The workers have a contract! Seems to me the State needs to declare bankruptcy if they want to legitimately abrogate those contracts! Otherwise, the State has to deal in good faith! I predict other States will claim insolvency to wipe out their obligations. It’s not right. we definitely have an “entitled class.” but it isn’t us, like the GOPers would tell it. » Posted By Gransview On February 19, 2011 @ 8:30 am Adonai, Loved your tribute to your Kentucky roots! My Mother was born in Bear Wallow, Ky, and Lexington, Berea, Richmond and Boonesboro have always been reunion destinations! I was wondering if you had done any genealogy research? It would be fun to compare ancestor stories. » Posted By Gransview On February 23, 2011 @ 6:05 am Arianna’s Republican Hattrick (or Toyboy) If you could please redact the perjoratives, it would read a little better. » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 4:52 pm Door to the WH? Maybe you enjoy posting as “Gender Neutral” until you are forced to “out yourself.” π For some reason, I am more comfortable posting to posters that seem to be gender specific–like a “grans.” I wish you all the best. » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 2:00 pm π π » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 8:54 am I have to laugh at myself. I misread your comment! If you substitute “reading” for “raiding” You wind up very confused! ~grans π » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 8:34 am He reminds me of somebody: A cross between Karl Rove and Richard Simmons? » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 7:26 am I just read through all the comments, and feel like many of you gave voice to my feelings. I haven’t deleted my account yet, but for me “Elvis has definitely left the building.” If I go there, it’s just to catch a few posters I love. » Posted By Gransview On February 18, 2011 @ 7:20 amComments Posted By Gransview
