We went all the way to Downey (to all of you not familiar with LA, it’s about 40 minutes southeast of downtown LA) for the masa at a Latino market called Amapola’s. I also love to shop at Grand Central MArket downtown, the Jon’s supermarket in Van Nuys for Mexican and Russian delicacies. Super King for almost any ethnicity in Lincoln Heights, and for fruits and veggies from around the world, Farmer’s Ranch Mkt on Sepulveda in Sherman Oaks. There are a ton others too.
