But it seems to be more acceptable for a man to do it versus a woman. Look around you and see who is being paid big bucks for that activity.
Look how many men are being paid to bitch, whine, complain and then look to see how many women are getting paid for the same activity.

1. No man is an island.
2. We are all in this together weither you like it or not.
3. What you do can affect me and others.Yes, it will impact me and others.
4. What I do can affect you and others.Yes, it will impact you and others.
5.If you do not want to get involved, when you need help no one will be involved for you.

Why are they allowed to still practice after breaking the law?
In both cases do they have to take an oath to uphold the law?

I so agree with your words. The man I help get elected basically told me and others to shut up and just go along with his agenda. The agenda that he campaigned on and the agenda that he is presenting to the world are two very different things.

I am so disheartened to say the least. I am now believing there is no part for people like me in this country.
People that believe there is a chance to improve as a country.People that believe that since I got an education I need to invest in our future. I need to support our future. People that believe that by having a system that will have fairness under the law. All of those aspects have diminished over the last 12 years.
The disconnect is I got my education , you and your children don’t deserve that. I should have to pay for yours.

I am told that I must pay my fair share while those that have the most get the most and pay nothing.
(Corporate taxes at the lowest point in history.)
I hear people say they are “self made” while they learned to read in public schools.
I hear those that say they did it by themselves while they drive their vehicles on taxpayer supported roads.
I listen to those that say they did it all by themselves while they got a government backed business loan. I hear those them say how they have contributed to our society because they supply jobs and give campaign contributions( buy representatives for pennies on the dollar) while they get government contracts for millions possibly billions of dollars.

Yes , they do work hard, most people do . It does not matter if they own a business or not. Those people that say they are completely “self made” forget or refuse to realize because of others coming together they were given opportunities to succeed.

The ultimate sadness is through individuality we have a very immense disconnect in this country.
We are divided and we are falling.
Then we wonder why we have arrogance, greed.

An Avatar by Any Other Name

I find it interesting that leaving out the possibility of being attacked by others might be the reason some people choose the avatar and user name was not mentioned in the article.There will always be that person to try to get around things or to subvert their personal responsibility.The biggest percentage of the bloggers/poster don’t think in those terms.Since there is no specific outline as to where the lines are drawn for public discourse, cyber bullying or threats on the net,many of the posters I know use their avatar for protection. The system has very little protection or very little recourse when someone is attacked. I have seen people get attacked because someone did not like them. I have seen a gang mentality by a group against one person.
Some times to even hide one’s gender may be the answer to help protect one’s self from cyber stalking or bullying.

I have had several people assume I was a male when in fact I am a female.

I look around and I see a continued smoke screen that is being displayed for all the world to see.
We have our representatives that are too busy doing everything but their job.
Look at the headlines. The house of Republicans want to redefine rape so federal tax dollars can’t be spent for an abortion. Blowing more smoke because not one thing mentioned in the above article is being seriously looked at by either our newstatinment or by our elected representatives.
What is wrong with that picture?
We get all the drivel thrown in our faces like sand. Our house is burning down and we got sand in our eyes so we can’t see it.
The distractions are intense and immense. You can not solve a problem until you identify the problem.
You can not identify the problems if you are distracted.
The cynical side of me says American will not recuperate because it is more important to be concerned about lindsay lohan’s body or be shocked at her behavior. Sad, pathetic and down right irresponsible on our parts that we are letting our children down and letting others steal their future ..
