Music Thread

I had the pleasure to catch Grace Potter, Jackson Browne, Marcus King and Lucius sing Grace's song, "Each Other" on The Colbert Show last night and it struck a chord. So this weekend, it leads our music thread with the theme of humanity, people and solidarity.

It's Father's Day Weekend so it's a good time to take some time to share gratitude for fathers who have loved, taught and helped raise their children to be good and kind people. Share songs that are about fathers, children or that you want to send to your father whether he's here or looking down on you.

We now have more than half a dozen Democratic candidates running for the Presidential nomination in 2020 so this weekend's music theme is about running and moving in a good direction.

This weekend's music thread is about showing our unity as a country against Trump and the corrupt and destructive slime that he is, about standing up for values we all share and strongly believe in.

This weekend's music theme is focused on songs that are about issues. Whether a song's about political, environmental, racial or social issues, you're invited to make a statement through music that does the same.
