The Trump Twitter scheme is a rigged con game from a con man. We can't win at it because the game is keeping the media and people chasing intentional lies each day, to control their behavior and their topics of discussion.
Confronted by reporters that this didn't make any sense in the rest of his Putin-supporting/America bashing statement, Trump replied, "It's not surprising that people in the fake news have so much hate in them, even for pudding. Pudding doesn't make sense? It's not supposed to make sense, it's just supposed to taste good and that's why I be loving pudding,"
The message here to the media is, quit playing dumb. Accept what is obviously true about Trump and stop asking "neutral" or fair" questions about what he says and does in the pursuit of appearing impartial.
In the Trump era, time runs faster. That can be a good or bad thing. The sooner Trump's four years are over will be a massive relief to most Americans and people around the world. However, as days and weeks speed by, many events that would haunt a politician to his grave are too quickly forgotten.
Is it just coincidence that Russia's strategy to undermine democracy during the election was in sync with Trump's?
Trump's success has been based on the cult of personality and while he's been right that cultists can't be convinced by reason out of believing in their cult leader, they can grow discouraged when The Promised Land that cult leader promised only he could deliver (and only for them, "the believers"), doesn't come.
Obliviously, in his pursuit to keep conning his supporters to stay behind him, Trump has been building a "big beautiful" wall between himself and the majority of Americans since he was inaugurated and it's only getting taller.
A new MSM motto may be adapted from an old cliche (that G.W. Bush is famous for messing up), "Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice, works for me if our ratings go up!"
That is what America and the 1st Amendment represents, we don't arrest or stone people who have bad senses of humor (which is why Carrot Top is still alive and free today....wherever he is).
TRUMP: "Dear wall, I'm praying that you turn all the media into something...I don't know, salt, lepers, hey what about, snakes! With tattoos that say, 'I love Fake News!' but with the heart sign for 'love', you know?"
