Why do Republicans appear to be playing an all-in, "Doomsday" game. Is there no tomorrow, Mitch?

Republicans will be able to block, individually, any new witnesses. They will do this with every important witness. That's a rigged trial.

Trump has both sides promoting his propaganda. He doesn't care if it's simultaneously being condemned by Dems. There's an old Hollywood saying, "There's no such thing as bad publicity." For propaganda, that's especially true.

If the United States Supreme Court were to have only one responsibility, I would have it be to protect the vote and the voter. But, the sad truth is that a highly organized effort to make sure that no vote is ever fair has plagued us almost from the founding of the country.

The gearing up for world war and the destruction of Islam served two purposes; of course it was a distraction, but it was a big step towards war. "Start here," means that Trump & Co are building a case for war with his base.

As it is, there are three Democrats in Gray’s Ellis' primary, including Gray himself. I also have a primary challenger — one who ran for this seat in 2014 and lost...when it was configured more in a way that favored the Republicans. So now it is on like Donkey Kong!! North Carolina has TWO openly-trans candidates for state Senate.

What if, the longer Trump allows this refusal of a fair trial to drag on, the more public hearings into his impeachable offenses are held and the more Articles of Impeachment may be voted on, making an even bigger the case will be when the trial finally does take place?

The 2020 election is an existential moment for the United States. Next November will decide whether this country recovers its sovereignty or is dragged deeper under Russian influence. 2020 will determine whether the Russian/Republican vision of remaking U.S. democracy into a dictatorship will be fulfilled or buried.
