The smallest man on Earth.

They deserve better!

She’s not the youngest of the grandbabies (They will always be babies to me.) On the first day of the first grade, when she was only six, she saw moms crying and clinging to their babies; and she went to each one and put her arms around them and said: “Don’t worry, everything’s going to be alright!” She deserves better. She deserves better than a president who cannot conceive of empathy. She deserves better than to see a beautiful young woman, representing the President, who endangers all children, and the future of my country, with her constant psychopathic lying. A beautiful young woman, who is dangerously paranoid, and has a life-long martyr complex, on television every day. We deserve better than a medical profession that cost the lives of 120,000 people. We deserve better than a political establishment that was bound and determined to fail. That’s what they do. Then hide from scrutiny in their mansions.

We deserve better than to have police and military charging civilians – in battle lines. We deserve better than to ever have to watch another American choked to death by four mentally ill thugs, while begging for just one more breath. To actually suffer such a horror is almost unimaginable.

We deserve better than a dysfunctional Congress. We deserve better than Mitch McConnell, who tabled 400 votes – last session! Is that what he calls Democracy? I call it tyranny! To kill Democracy. We deserve better than to have Paul Ryan give years worth of our hard-earned income to the filthy rich.

We deserve better than to have crumbling roads and bridges, where people die because of potholes, where we have no options; either we risk our lives to go home for Christmas, or give a trillion dollars to the Mafia.

We deserve better than failing schools, where a district spends seven million dollars on a junior high gymnasium, then places last in the state academically.

We deserve better than a government whose chief purpose is to lie and hide the truth about everything that they do. A government that has forgotten that they are “our” government. We are not their “whites,” or “blacks,” or any other color under the rainbow.

We deserve better than a military racked by suicide. And under the insufferable burden of honorless civilian leaders, who turn every issue into a political game. And an opportunity for enrichment.

We deserve better than so much sorrow.

We deserve better than to have a President who cannot conceive of morality or professional ethics.

We deserve better than to go hungry, to be unable to pay our rent, to even contemplate being at the mercy of our “Dear Landlord.”

“Oh, Dear Landlord,
Please don’t put a price
on my soul!”
-Leonard-

We deserve better than to see our national parks and forests ravaged. We deserve better than to see the last of endangered species slaughtered with bullets that fly at three times the speed of sound, by idiotic killers with the minds of two-year-olds.

We deserve better than to lose our standing in the world, paid for with so much blood and tears.

There’s a song, one of those real old Blues songs, called: “Sitting ’round Crying.” I guess that today’s just one of those days.

Air Force brat. My dad was shepherd to a bunch of B-52's; the GI's called that place "20 Minutes From Armageddon;" because a missile launched in East Germany would pop over our heads twenty minutes later. That put me in some of the best schools anywhere. I wrote in the Press Office of a powerful, charismatic Midwestern Governor. I dabble in graphic arts. My 50+ entertainment sites get a few million visits, and I have stopped counting the fans, likes, and shares, per year. I've rambled the world, hitched around the continent (counter-clockwise). Climbed a couple of teeners, been to a couple of thousand rock, blues, and jazz concerts. I was at a free concert on Telegraph Avenue, Berkeley, CA with about 350,000 freaks and hippies; and other festivals. I won a writing contest when I was six. It was a Poe-like horror story taken from an account of a mining disaster. I had already been reading Edgar Allan Poe (which may explain a lot). I could read before I could talk. I implemented some of the first client/server, TCP-IP networks (the Internet) at many of the world's largest corporations. I know a half-dozen programming languages, and have implemented and administered many network operating systems. Right now I build ebikes, and lithium batteries from scratch. I was taught that race and ethnicity don't set us apart. I think that the best thing that could happen in this country would be if a woman were to be elected President of the United States. I admire President Obama more than any man in history, save one.
