Friday was May 1st, International Workers Day. While it has been a big day for workers in communist countries through the years, it’s a good thing to celebrate the people who do the real work in this country. Not the CEOs , not the financiers but the real workers who make the economy and business work day to day. If shelter-at-home has proven one thing, it’s how invaluable they are to business and society.
And talking about work to do, there’s also electing Dems to replace Trump and the GOP.
So this weekend’s music theme is about work and (well-earned) play. Songs about working at anything, whether it’s a job, playing music or a relationship and songs about play including traveling, games and anything people do for fun when the workweek is over.
Now it’s your turn to get to work…or play, sharing your favorite songs about work and play!
Skinhead culture was working class and had nothing to do with racism at first.
