Vox Populi, our weekly live chat about the week’s events, begins tonight at 7:00pm PDT. Hope to see you then! AdLib 3 hours ago

I’m twenty minutes early to the party. I’ll gather my snacks and mention it is a hundred degrees here in Tucson already. Khirad 2 hours ago

8 degrees C in Melbourne, brrr! See u in a few! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Hey Khirad! AdLib 2 hours ago

Hey PPO! AdLib 2 hours ago

Khirad – So Mother Nature is helping keep social distancing in place in AZ. AdLib 2 hours ago

PPO – You guys need to send some weather to each other. AdLib 2 hours ago

Hey Harleigh! AdLib 2 hours ago

Omg I’m early??!! Harleigh 2 hours ago

Hey guys Harleigh 2 hours ago

Ah well, never mind! How’s everybody? All safe? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

It’s distancing the girls jogging and walking their dogs from some clothes, so can’t complain. Khirad 2 hours ago

Ppo yep safe as possible. Harleigh 2 hours ago

Just a few minutes, but we’re here! AdLib 2 hours ago

Doing fine, PPO. How are you and Fergie doing? AdLib 2 hours ago

Our State Premier is keeping restrictions for a few more weeks. Good for him, I say. Others are champing to ease, but I worry. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

It’s not even June… Summer is Coming is my own GoT’s chant. Khirad 2 hours ago

Khirad – Is that how distancing works? I’ve been doing this completely wrong. AdLib 2 hours ago

I’m here on my new phone for the first time. Slimmer and oh so much faster. Harleigh 2 hours ago

Well it’s not like I have binoculars? Wait……… notepad, idea. Khirad 2 hours ago

Ad, only out yesterday for my monthly eye injection. There and back by cab. 90 mins total go to whoa. pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

What is your state, because I have some flag problems with pretty much all of it down there… Khirad 2 hours ago

PPO – I think it’s unavoidable that the US, especially red states, are headed for a big pandemic resurgence in a matter of weeks. In fact, many of the ones opening up are breaking records on infections daily. AdLib 2 hours ago

Khirad – Like it! AdLib 2 hours ago

One of these days I will bore you all with my flag knowledge…. Khirad 2 hours ago

Harleigh – That is a damn fine phone you got there, the 11! AdLib 2 hours ago

Hopefully red state repubeliekkklan assholes will get it the most Harleigh 2 hours ago

Khirad – A telescope still counts. AdLib 2 hours ago

I’m looking for Venus on the mound of the horizon? Khirad 2 hours ago

PPO – It is getting tempting to folks who don’t believe Trump but just want to get out, to spend more time out in public. More folks on the streets and at markets and shops thiis week. AdLib 2 hours ago

Let’s not get to Jon Waters and class it up. Khirad 2 hours ago

I’m in Melbourne, Victoria state capital. Sydney is New South Wales, Perth is Western Australia, Adelaide is South Australia, Brisbane is Queensland, Darwin is Northern Territory, Hobart is Island Of Tasmania. Canberra is the Aussie capital and in the Australian Capital Territory ( a special enclave like DC. ) pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Thanks PP, I know, but you forgot the other weird exclave? Khirad 2 hours ago

Harleigh – I do think that Red states are going to be crushed with infections, hospitalizations and deaths because they’re hiding some of the real numbers yet still rising each day. They don’t want to piss off Trump and will kill as many citizens as it takes t keep his approval of them. AdLib 2 hours ago

? k pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Northern Territory has the most legit, though love the black swan Khirad 2 hours ago

As it amazes me. G5 is building here in south floriduh and my comcast router hooks up at 5g! Harleigh 2 hours ago

AD, I hear from Mid states that hotspots are popping up now. God Help Them pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Khirad – If you’ve got Divine in sight, you may put the telescope down. AdLib 2 hours ago

Jervis Bay! Had to look it up again, not getting into the outer stuff. I’ll leave it there. Khirad 2 hours ago

The red neck evangelicals have no idea what death looks like yet. Harleigh 2 hours ago

glenn! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Hey hon Harleigh 2 hours ago

Evenin’ gents! Rabbit, rabbit! glenn 2 hours ago

Can we send them somewhere or lock them inside a megachurch and burn it? That’s all I have to say. I’m so done and tired. Khirad 2 hours ago

PPO – What’s dangerous is that the push by the wealthy to “get back to wealth” while killing their employees, is playing into people’s desire to get out of the house and of course, make money. This all happened with The Spanish Flu, some cities and states used wishful thinking to believe it was over and time to get back to work…and it didn’t turn out well for them. AdLib 2 hours ago

Harleigh – Wonder how happy those preachers will be after they sicken or kill off their followers…when they look at the only thing they really care about, the collection plate. AdLib 2 hours ago

Hey glenn! AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad, Spanish flu had only newspapers and primitive radio as propaganda those days, so Hearst and his co newspaper barons have a lot to answer for. Is this familiar? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

The infection right and the red state is on a straight 90° climb to the stratosphere. It won’t be safe to go into those states for months. Harleigh 2 hours ago

And what the hell does an AR-15 have to ……. like I didn’t see it coming. Let us talk and get it off our chests, but they hate Whitmer ’cause she’s hot? Or …… that’s just me. Khirad 2 hours ago

Khirad–I am with you; I am so sick of the magats! Their disgraceful display yesterday in Michigan just blew my mind! I cannot believe there was not one single arrest of the armed terrorists invading a state capitol building! glenn 2 hours ago

glenn, they weren’t black pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Khirad – They’re doing it to themselves, locking themselves in churches and burning them down…or at least their followers. How does this work out better for them to be sickening and killing their own followers. And preachers are getting sick and dying too. Even ones claiming COVID-19 is a hoax. AdLib 2 hours ago

Ad–Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it. The problem is these people know history very well; and they’re determined to repeat it! glenn 2 hours ago

I love the quote by one Evangelical preacher who said Jesus would protect them that the pandemic is a hoax and that people should not be afraid of something they can’t see ha ha ha ha Ha Harleigh 2 hours ago

PPO – Very familiar, Fox News should be sued out of existence by the families of viewers who have died because of their lies. AdLib 2 hours ago

Random, but if no one has seen Ask a Mortician, it’s an interesting look to the darker side of the death industry right now. Khirad 2 hours ago

Ad–Some of those preachers are not only killing their followers; they’re killing themselves! glenn 2 hours ago

Harleigh, Their greed knows no bounds pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Harleigh – They believe in something they cant see! pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

Harleigh–and that preacher said that without a trace of irony! glenn 2 hours ago

Harleigh – You need to stay safe, FL is exploding with infection so badly that De Santis is blocking the reporting of deaths related to COVID-19, as I’m sure you already know. I think in 2-3 weeks, it’s going to be really bad there. AdLib 2 hours ago

There are more bodies than the funeral homes can deal with much less the morgues Harleigh 2 hours ago

Ad–I fear GA will explode, too. I’m staying home for a little while longer. glenn 2 hours ago

Ad any truthful reports out of Fla following last weeks beach invasion? pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

And they’re mostly not liable, the preachers. However can Alex Jones get gay with a toad and jump off into whatever swamp he came from? Khirad 2 hours ago

In South Florida Miami and Fort Lauderdale are still pretty much locked down they did open the rest of the state and the spike has been tremendous Harleigh 2 hours ago

BRB pinkpantheroz 2 hours ago

DeSantis is blocking all of the health department from actually reporting Covid deaths Harleigh 2 hours ago

Khirad – Hope you saw what happened in Sacramento today, Newsom ordered the arrest of protesters there who are blatantly endangering police and citizens. This is what should have been done in MI. Now, the militia movement is emboldened . Easy to predict what they will do now in states like MI after Trump is defeated. Have to stem these deranged racists early. AdLib an hour ago

They’re pretty much just cremating them. Not making money, either, so, there’s that. Khirad an hour ago

Khirad–not to worry, those preachers and Alex Jones are “good people”. glenn an hour ago

glenn – Trumpers think history is a hoax, of course they can’t learn from it. AdLib an hour ago

We don’t need no stinking history Harleigh an hour ago

Harleigh – That is pretty amusing. “Believe in this invisible thing but not that one that can be seen wth microscopes.” AdLib an hour ago

Ad–I still cannot wrap my head around two things: one, that not one of those MI protesters was arrested, and two, that the TLB wants the governor of MI to negotiate with armed terrorists. glenn an hour ago

Khirad – Isn’t “Ask a Mortician” Trump’s new 2020 campaign theme? AdLib an hour ago

I almost forgot, did you guys know Washington is a state? and the state of Washington has a state governor known as the Washington state governor of the state who is Inslee state state sate state state. Alright, out of my system. I was born and raised there. We just called it fucking Washington. Khirad an hour ago

Those protesters would’ve been creamed by the police and the National Guard on the scene. They have no idea what a firefight is like Harleigh an hour ago

glenn – Yes, saw the story on the preacher who died after assuring his congregation it was not a threat. AdLib an hour ago

She has some interesting things to say, the mortician does about him. I’ll give you my favorite YouTube channels later… Khirad an hour ago

Ad, I thinks a couple of them have keeled over pinkpantheroz an hour ago

glenn – Yes, you need to stay very safe too. Like being in a hurricane that many insist isn’t coming. GA is ging to be in really desperate shape in 2-3 weeks too. AdLib an hour ago

PPO you are right there have been several of them that have died Harleigh an hour ago

Ad–Yup, either a hoax or fake news, I always get confused which is which. glenn an hour ago

Anyone booking the West Point Golf Club for a round soon? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

PPO – I just have heard that the infection and death rate is rising sharply in FL, even with the cover up by DeSantis. But at least the tattoo parlors and manicure shops are open. It will be hell, just simple science. AdLib an hour ago

I’m just saying California, Oregon and Washington should maybe make their move? Khirad an hour ago

Harleigh–we don’t need stinkin’ history; we just make it up as we go along. You know, like “states’ rights”. glenn an hour ago

Ha Hah Hah Hah Harleigh an hour ago

Ad, God’s Waiting Room is beginning to empty. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Khirad–thanks for the info on Washington. This is the safe place to rant. glenn an hour ago

When this thing starts on the rednecks in the middle and northern part of Florida it will go through the retirement homes and rehab centers like shit through a goose Harleigh an hour ago

Harleigh – That is scary. I’m stressed out enough when going to the market with everyone wearing masks and social distancing going on. But in FL, where masks will be gone and people not social distancing, COVID is going to be spread widely. AdLib an hour ago

Harleigh–slight correction….Those protestors SHOULD’VE been creamed by the police and national guard. I still cannot figure out why they weren’t. glenn an hour ago

AD they opened up the beaches from Daytona north!! Harleigh an hour ago

H, that’s what I worry about – the helpers in those homes catching it. What happens if there aren’t enough left to care? Open the Wall, maybe? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

PPO–I was thinking of booking rooms at MarALago, rather than West Point. glenn an hour ago

Glenn it pisses me off for no reason. Once you’ve established we’re not talking about the federal capital of DC and it’s on a map or flag or a Senator – you don’t need to say STATE. I didn’t learn to sing Washington STATE my home when I was in grade school. Also, Oreegawn and Nevahda peeps, just get a blackboard and run your nails over and over. Khirad an hour ago

glenn….yeuch no! What do those rooms contain? You couldn’t clean them well enough for me! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Harleigh–I heard that COVID was already well underway in the Villages. Any more reports on that? glenn an hour ago

glenn – I think Whitmer is worried about igniting a new danger in MI, inciting these militia nutjobs by arresting any of them. But I think she’s making a mistake, they now know they can show up in force with weapons to intimidate and get Trump supporting them, that is more dangerous IMO. They are her enemies anyway, she might as well keep order and enforce the law on them. Before this snowballs out of control and someone gets shot. AdLib an hour ago

Khirad – Yes, I heard a rumor that WA is a state. You’re sure that’s not a hoax? AdLib an hour ago

Does anyone know if there is a golf course close to Mt. Rushmore? TLB wants to travel to see the ‘Fireworks!’ pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Ad, It is a Deep State! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Harleigh – When Trump loses, these losers will come out in force and I amuse myself imagining how they think they will win their revolt aganst democracy with tanks brought in to mow them down. AdLib an hour ago

The villages are just jammed with an at risk adverse population Harleigh an hour ago

I don’t bring up my ex much, but I visited her family in Wisconsin around Madison. I asked what was up north and they gave me that Night’s Watch look from Game of Thrones. I’m imagining Michigan being the same. I know the UP was like their Alaska to runaway from warrants. Also, speaking of, forget buying Greenland, anyway? Khirad an hour ago

Khirad–I get it. There are some things that just sit the wrong way, especially when people keep on making the same stupid statements over and over. It’s like people saying the TLB is smart or a good businessman. glenn an hour ago

Spanky is a demented fucktard. Period. Harleigh an hour ago

Glenn, it’s mostly like the Morning Joe or New York folks. Like, I could butcher you state pronunciations too, but I don’t because I went to school. Khirad an hour ago

Ad–I agree 100%. I think Whitmer made a big mistake by not arresting them. Or at least not making them disperse. BTW, I never got the end. Did they just up and leave? glenn an hour ago

Khirad – First, when the RubePublicans in TX declared they wanted to secede after Obama won, I was amused because no state has the power to seceded…hence The Civil War. But I would say that if Trump is trying to extort states to chage policies to get money they should get, the Western Alliance shuld halt the sending of tax money to the US Government. Easy to see who wins that conflict. AdLib an hour ago

Morning Joe – snort! What about Chris Hayes? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Chris Hayes actually gets it right and he’s from New York. Ari Melber is from Seattle so, that’s a given. Khirad an hour ago

PPO – Yep, how much must elderly Repubs in FL be self-hating, to watch their chosen Gov saying essentially, their all worthless because they’re going to die soon anyway? AdLib an hour ago

Ad–That was my thought, too. Too can play the TLB’s game. The states that send more money to the Feds than they get, should just tell the TLB that they’re going to stop sending their money. glenn an hour ago

I’m already lost but have we mentioned Sweden yet? Khirad an hour ago

The old folks in the homes are mostly turn to Fox in they’re gathering rooms Harleigh an hour ago

Harleigh – What’s the difference between Jim Jones poisoning his cult and DeSantis poisoning his state? It was slightly more humid in Guyana. AdLib an hour ago

I know people say this because I live in Arizona but Florida……… man. Khirad an hour ago

Ha Hah Hah Hah Hah Harleigh an hour ago

Khirad, Sweden eased off and now a secondary plague is hitting pinkpantheroz an hour ago

So…what do we think about the MSM giving lots of focus now on the sexual assault allegations against Biden? And what do you think about it? AdLib an hour ago

And I’m out… just kidding. Khirad an hour ago

Harleigh–you will get no argument from me on your description of the TLB. glenn an hour ago

Everything in Florida north of Lake Okeechobee is really going to take a big hit. Hundreds of thousands are going to die from that Harleigh an hour ago

Fucking own it Biden. Do something. Khirad an hour ago

Ad, a load of bollocks. If it were true, he and Obama wouldn’t have won. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Ad–good one! glenn an hour ago

I wish we did have debates and Biden inveted the dozens and dozens of Trumps accusers. I mean, he’s classier than that but I’m not. Ik’m like your VEEP Karl Rove who stopped giving fucks. Khirad an hour ago

The Baden thing from everything I have read is just a cooked up a bunch of bullshit. Harleigh an hour ago

Khirad – Biden did an interview this morning to be grilled on Reade. And he released a letter saying he wants any papers released from Nat’l Archives showing a complaint from Reade. Interestingly, Reade came out today to say, she actually didn’t claim sexual assault in her complaint…but it still happened. Er… AdLib an hour ago

Missed that AdLib. I’m sure the Bernie cult will take it to heart, da? Khirad an hour ago

Khirad–I think Biden did own it. He gave two interviews today and unequivocally denied the charges. I think Biden should be calling for his accuser to face him under oath, like Kavanaugh’s accuser did. Biden himself should also testify under oath. glenn an hour ago

Like I said I missed them. I’ll check them out. Khirad an hour ago

Ad–as far as the MSM giving focus to Biden’s accusers, I think we need to remind them of “both sidersism” that they love so much and make them keep bringing up the TLB’s sexual assault charges. All of them! glenn an hour ago

Ad, yes, funny that…. and what a coincidence that her late father had written the exact assault in a novel years before. Gibbs Rule #39! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

He’s touchy feely but that’s just him. I like my personal space and would tell Biden to step back, but to say he’s an assaulter is like the Al Frankin thing to me. Khirad an hour ago

Yep Harleigh an hour ago

Ad–Oh, I missed that where Reade filed the complaint, but it wasn’t a sexual assault complaint. So, what was her complaint? glenn an hour ago

My bigger thing is the Trumpsters attack being going after Biden’s detereorating cognition? Like What. The. Fuck? No words…….. Khirad an hour ago

The Bernie fanatics are jumping all over this, calling Biden supporters “pro-rapist” and insisting Biden needs to resign so Bernie can be the nom. They attack everyone else for being hypocritical for believing other victims and not Reade because we’re supposed to believe all women. So we should believe Sarah Huckabee Sanders? Kelly Anne Conway? Women never lie for political and personal benefit? Only men do? My perspective on allegations is that all women’s allegations should be taken seriously and investigated…but that is not the same as blindly believing every claim no matter how dishonest the accuser is proven to be. AdLib an hour ago

PPO–Read’s father wrote that assault? That’s a new one on me. glenn an hour ago

Khirad – As you allude to, the Bernie fanatics will never let the bit be taken out of their mouths on this. They are Bernie or Bust, either Bernie is installed as the nom or the Dem Party must be burned down. AdLib an hour ago

Biden is fine, Khirad, except for a stutter he fights every day. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I don’t even know how to classify the Bernie people. I lost some good friends… it’s its own bubble and cult. You can’t reason with them. I’m not watching again but just left Krystal Ball a terse, what’s your solution then? Khirad an hour ago

And thus, these Bernie nuts really do want Trump to be re-elected. AdLib an hour ago

Glenn, apparently word for word the way she subsequently described the assault. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Like I’m so done, I came here from FB peeps, I am doooooone with every argument. Khirad an hour ago

Khirad–I agree, there are no words. I must admit, I sputter a lot when I read about the TLB’s supporters going after Biden’s cognition, or any other accusation they make. It’s just mind-blowing that supposedly adult people can support the TLB in any way, shape, or form. glenn an hour ago

Facebook has so very much to answer for, Khalid pinkpantheroz an hour ago

PPO – Exactly! This woman is unstable, she’s changed her allegations repeatedly, changed her name repeatedly, changed her story for leaving her job as a Biden aide repeatedly, embezzled money from a previous job, claimed to love Putin, claimed to support Biden up until this year then suddenly claimed he molested her. She is a sick woman. AdLib an hour ago

Ad–so why aren’t Bernie’s supporters calling for an investigation of Reade, like they did Kavanaugh’s accuser? Can’t remember her name… glenn an hour ago

It would be kind of cool if we could do a Cocoon reboot though? Sorry guys. I love my old liberal dad too, but …….. yeah……… Khirad an hour ago

Khirad – Absolutely, this stinks just like the Repub ploy to get rid of Al Franken. AdLib an hour ago

PP don’t get me started, I’m in a good mood, and I’ve ranted before. Khirad an hour ago

And Gillibrand was happy to address that for them Harleigh an hour ago

Chill, please, Khalid. You’re among friends here. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Ad–and the sad part about the Bernie or busters who want to burn down the Dem party is that Bernie wasn’t even a Dem until he wanted to run for president. glenn an hour ago

Enough negativity! Who will be Joe’s running mate? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph!!! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

glenn – Reade filed a criminal complaint with the DC police but didn’t name Biden as the one who assaulted her. Why? Becausse being proven to be lying aboout that would be a crime. And now, DC has changed the claim to “inactive” status. No one is finding a drop of legit proof including MeToo. AdLib an hour ago

PPO–So, she’s just like the first whore. Can’t even make up charges without plagarizing someone. glenn an hour ago

Just back from a grocery distribution…sorry to be so late…so much to chat about. HI PPO MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Hey Murph! AdLib an hour ago

Hey Murph! glenn an hour ago

My top 3 female choices are all sitting senators Harleigh an hour ago

Kirad! Mysterious stranger? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

glenn Spot on!

pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I am chill. That’s what I was asking. I want a running mate with a pulse in four to eight years? And let’s not do the Kaine thing? Like not to rehash that, but WTF was that? Khirad an hour ago

Howdy Glenn, Howday Ad, Howdy Harleigh….I think that covers the field. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

I am going to scan the conversation so far… MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

PPO–Be interesting to see who Biden’s VP committee comes up with. glenn an hour ago

I got heat for it, but I liked Kamala early on. Khirad an hour ago

OK, Murph. We started a little early! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

glenn – Yep, Reade’s father wrote a crappy novel and in a section, he describes the exact sexual abuse scene she later accused Biden of. And I saw a Medum article by a woman claiming to have been a friend who called her a liar and can prove it, said Reade told her that exact attack was made on her by her husband. AdLib an hour ago

What is Joe did pick a woman, but not a POC? Who might qualify? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

What if pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I know California is a lock, but it’s west. Otherwise, I’m such a centrist DLC establishment blah blah but Klobuchar – a lot of others. They don’t need to be a woman, but why not? Khirad an hour ago

Khirad – Exactly, just as Trump supporters became his cult, Bernie fanatics (not al Bernie supporters) have become the same kind of vicious, twisted cult. You can’t reason with cult members, they have no use for reason. AdLib an hour ago

Ad–Guessing Reade was looking for her 15 minutes of fame, and is getting more than she bargained for. glenn an hour ago

K, Joe promised it would be, so we’re kinda locked on gender. pinkpantheroz an hour ago

PPO–Warren, Harris are my two favorite picks. glenn an hour ago

One of the women democrat governor’s but not a sitting woman senator that would be self-defeating Harleigh an hour ago

Ok…sort of caught up……Just a FYI….spent the day butchering and then packing for deep freezing. My Co-Op is going to produce its own meat. We now have two plants in Mo that have been hit by Covid. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Tangent, “the establishment unfair Democratic party that’s so bad….” – me – “if you hate it so much than screw you and start your own effing party” oy. I’m done. Khirad an hour ago

I ams till for Abrams. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

glenn – Because, as I’m sure you know, Bernie supporters see Reade as a useful tool to try and force Biden out of the race, annoint King Bernie in his place or burn down the Dem Party via Reade otherwise. They are a sick cult, as bad as Trumpers. AdLib an hour ago

What was your conclusion re. Biden and his accuser. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Ad–if any cult members were actually capable of reasonable thought, they wouldn’t be in a cult. glenn an hour ago

Murph–I’m with you on Abrams. glenn an hour ago

well said, glenn. Ad, who says that, if Joe were outed, that Bernie would be the next in line? He’s not a Democrat! pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Murph–that Biden’s accuser is a liar and mentally ill. glenn an hour ago

Thanks Glenn….I do not want to have to fight for Senate Seats…..and I want someone from the south, a woman and of color…that she is super smart, very well spoken, a crowd pleaser, and cutting edge on matters of voting rights and income inequality makes her all the better. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph, we all agree she’s a lying opportunist. See Ad.s note above pinkpantheroz an hour ago

Abrams is still cool with me and Georgia and that whole Kent thing back when and Kamala for AG? Also, I’ll tell you about Arizona too. They could not have picked a better candidate. I never get hopeful with AZ, but holy crap we are already a mail in state and Latinos! Khirad an hour ago

I saw a poll today that Warren is way ahead as the most preferred VP for Biden, over 40% for her, next highest was Harris at 15%. She’s my preference but if it’s Harris, I’m fine with that. I really don’t think it will be Abrams though, the VP has to be ready to be president due to Biden’s age and I think someone already in DC will be seen as more viable. AdLib an hour ago

Warren is also my first choice and always sort of has been but she’s from a state with a Republican governor so we lose the Senate seat Harleigh an hour ago

glenn – For Reade, this was her shot to get the attention she seems to crave but she didn’t think about what came next, being investigated herself and exposed as unstable and dishonest. AdLib an hour ago

Glenn….PPO…..Ad……I agree with your assessment….the accuser does not pass the smell test. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Ad…..does Reade have skeletons? MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

A thorny question – is it better to sacrifice a Senator to get the Presidency, or win control of the Senate and house? pinkpantheroz an hour ago

I’m sure Biden would have remembered that smell Harleigh an hour ago

Murph – That’s good to hear. I know they say you can’t catch COVID-19 from eating it on food but better to get meat from healthy farmers instead. AdLib an hour ago

I repeat I want the Senate locked down, and Abrams seems to meet every punch point on my card….or am I missing something critical re. Abrams. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

I like Warren because when it was down to it, I would of it rather been her. Also, the Bernie cult chewing her up. We’re on the same page but it was like, she was a darling of the progressives and got in Bernie’s lane or something? Like vicious. I always liked Bernie, longer than many of them. But he’s not going down well in history. He should of said – I don’t need or want your support. Khirad an hour ago

I recommend folks to read this article from a sexual assault prosecutor as to why Reade is not credible. It doesn’t list her history of mental instability and crimes but it gives insight from an experienced source; https://www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2020/04/29/joe-biden-sexual-assault-allegation-tara-reade-column/3046962001/ AdLib an hour ago

Ad…….”they” have said so many things were certainty only to have those things upended that I will not take the chance. I am telling people that minimally what they should do is freeze any meat, hard freeze and then when used making medium to well done. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

It’s all too early, I’m waiting for a dark horse so long as it isn’t as asinine as Kaine. Jesus. Like two things can be true. Yes she won the popular vote, yes, Russia… but… Khirad an hour ago

I really want Warren in the cabinet and at Treasury until a supreme court seat opens up. MurphTheSurf3 an hour ago

Murph–yup, those are exactly the reasons I like Abrams for VP. Well stated, my friend. glenn 44 minutes ago

Ad, I have tabbed the article you recommend….. MurphTheSurf3 44 minutes ago

Thanks glenn…. MurphTheSurf3 44 minutes ago

PPO – And the Dem primary doesn’t work that way, Bernie wouldn’t get the nom because he lost and came in 2nd place. The gameboard would be reset, the primaries would be meaningless and the deledgates would be freed to vote for whoever they wanted…annd it wouldn’t be Bernie. AdLib 44 minutes ago

Khirad…..stacy is a dark horse (not in office, from the south, and of course, obviously person of color)…..a champion racer from my perspective…. MurphTheSurf3 43 minutes ago

Ad, great. Now can someone PLEASE tell the fucking Bernie Boys to pack their saddlebags and get out of town pinkpantheroz 43 minutes ago

I cringe when I hear mental instability but I will read, I want to know as I have been accused myself from my very bipolar ex. I’m going to read and watch his statements, but be very delicate how you word these things. Like Judge Janine Pirro is unstable, but, I’ll read. Khirad 42 minutes ago

Murph – As I’ve mentioned, MA has great rules about calling an election to replace a Senator quickly so a Repub appointee wouldn’t last more than a couple of months. AdLib 42 minutes ago

Ad–I know I’m in the minority, but Warren needs to stay where she is, so we can keep her Senate seat. Sometimes, I think Dems are not focused on the big picture, and get all wrapped up in personalities, instead of the long-term results. glenn 42 minutes ago

One of the members of my co-op is a Bernster and he is SO annoying with his whining about “the lost cause”….. MurphTheSurf3 42 minutes ago

Mass is safe unless Scott Brown get back ‘in the picture’ Khirad 42 minutes ago

Murph – Yep, Reade has a mountain of skeletons in the closet including committing fraud when she worked with a horse rescue business and stole money from them. AdLib 41 minutes ago

Ad–I read that article. It was well-written, IMO. glenn 41 minutes ago

Khirad…but there would be a GOP appointed office holder to replace Warren if she were VP, yes? MurphTheSurf3 41 minutes ago

Murph–how can Bernie’s “cause” be lost when Biden is willing to adopt most of Bernie’s platform? At least, that’s what I’ve been reading. glenn 40 minutes ago

Khirad – True, as with the militia needing to be stopped immediately in MI, Bernie fanatics should have been slapped down by him at the outset and I put a lot of responsibility on Bernie for letting them spin out of control into maniacal zealots. AdLib 39 minutes ago

Ad…..I am glad to hear it…..frankly I have been more than a little annoyed at the left wing media who are, in the name of fairness, or ardent me-tooism, acting like hound dogs on the trail of game. MurphTheSurf3 39 minutes ago

Just don’t pull a Sebalius or Napalitano like Obama did. Govs, but it fucked us up especially as, and you will not be shocked to hear this, Arizona doesn’t have a Lt. Gov and I digress…….. but we’re still digging back from that. Khirad 39 minutes ago

Glenn….as long as the flag bearer is not their guy, the cause is lost. MurphTheSurf3 39 minutes ago

glenn, Bernie does have useful policies whaich could be implemented. It is just that Bernie, the person is not electible, IMO pinkpantheroz 39 minutes ago

I forgot Mass has a GOP governor. How does that even happen? Khirad 39 minutes ago

Murph – Very smart policies with meat, definitely a much smarter way to go than, “they said it’s okay to eat infected meat”. AdLib 38 minutes ago

Kirad….their gov is a old style GOPer……remember that Romney was also a Mass gov…they have a history. MurphTheSurf3 38 minutes ago

Murph–so once again, we’re talking personality, rather than ideology? The Dem platform is most of what berniebots want, but they don’t want it unless Bernie leads it? glenn 37 minutes ago

Murph, I figured, the last of the quasi Rockafellers from the west of the state I presume. Khirad 37 minutes ago

Ad….yes…..one can buy a whole cow for around $250…..cost effective and safe. MurphTheSurf3 37 minutes ago

Murph – That’s the thing, same problem with putting Warren in the cabinet as making her VP, her seat opens up. So, if it’s not really a problem, which I don’t think it is, she should be where she can best contribute. AdLib 37 minutes ago

Glenn…so much of politics is the cult of personality…..Obama and Trump both benefited from this….it is just that one of the pair is a louse. MurphTheSurf3 36 minutes ago

PPO–I don’t think Bernie is electable, either. But then again, I didn’t think that the TLB was electable, either. glenn 36 minutes ago

Ad….the thing is that they could time a Warren cabinet appt so that the impact is much less…..but I get your point. MurphTheSurf3 36 minutes ago

What do you all think of Amash with his third-party run? glenn 35 minutes ago

Glenn….Amash….a spoiler…..and I wonder who he is fronting for. MurphTheSurf3 35 minutes ago

I get called a cultist, but vote blue no matter who – even if it seems harmless like in Massachusetts. I mean, I won’t even – maybe once or twice I’ve voted Republican for like water such and such – like a technocratic Arizona thing too long to explain but with no real consequences. That’s about it. Khirad 35 minutes ago

Khirad – Reade has changed her name at least 4-5 times, she has lied repeatedly about nearly everything she has ever claimed, she was a staunch supporter of Biden than for a while, praised Putin and attacked American politicians then came back to support Biden then accused him of molestiing her over 20 years ago. That is kind of the opposite of mental stability, IMO. AdLib 35 minutes ago

Murph–Yeah, it’s the old, “Would you have a beer with….” glenn 34 minutes ago

glenn, another GOP-generated diversionary tactic to split the Dem vote, just like Bernie’s lads. pinkpantheroz 34 minutes ago

Khirad….I now vote Dem every time in everything…to have an R behind your name is to be tainted and tarred. MurphTheSurf3 34 minutes ago

AdLib, I’ll read the article, but from that snippet, I’m out my DSM-IV and yes, unstable is fair game. Khirad 34 minutes ago

Murph–yeah, that’s the question, isn’t it? Hopefully, the media will dig into his supporters. glenn 33 minutes ago

Murph – I think Reade will continue to be a “both sides” attack for the MSM against Biden to show just how “fair” they are but she won’t hold up under scrutiny. And it’s good to get this out now, way before the election. AdLib 32 minutes ago

AND of course the very idea of Trumpsters standing in fake-shock when considering the Biden accusation is so ludicrous and hypocritical given their guy…..Bozos in glass houses should not throw coconuts. MurphTheSurf3 32 minutes ago

Glenn…dig, dig, dig. MurphTheSurf3 32 minutes ago

Ad, agree about Reade (a skunk by any other name stinks). MurphTheSurf3 31 minutes ago

Khirad–I have voted for republicans in the past, but never again. It’s like Ad says, “If you have an R by your name, you’re tainted and tarred.” I live in GA, and lots of times when I go to vote, there are only republicans on the ballot. I write in my (deceased) mother’s name for those races. glenn 31 minutes ago

PP I forgot, what’s the law on voting in Australia again? I heard it was compulsory but haven’t checked for a while. Also, I love messing with right wingers with the word Liberal but I digress into geopolitical political-scienceci Khirad 31 minutes ago

Murph–LOL! glenn 30 minutes ago

Khirad – I don’t think Biden can afford to go with any VP who is seen as occupying the same political space as himself or it will de-energize his campaign. Klobuchar, Sebalius, Nepalitano, they have no voter appeal. Klobuchar lost badly nearly everywhere despite the meaningless IA performance. And the others have no voter support. I think it will be Harris or Warren, and I think Harris has the inside track. AdLib 30 minutes ago

I want to know what kind of pantyhose and underwear Reid was wearing! Harleigh 30 minutes ago

Reported in Twirtter: “Gavin Newsom finally did it. 24 re-open “protesters” were arrested in Sacramento today for refusing to leave the steps of the statehouse. And for endangering themselves and countless others. pinkpantheroz 30 minutes ago

Well, gents, it’s that time again for me. Take care everyone, and stay safe. See you all next week, I hope. glenn 29 minutes ago

AdLib, heard, and Napolitano was my own rant. Khirad 29 minutes ago

Wiedersehen Glenn Khirad 29 minutes ago

glen – Good point, the Bernie fanatics don’t care that Biden is agreeing to more of Bernie’s platform. They are cultists, they don’t care about policy really, they only have a passion for their cult leader. AdLib 29 minutes ago

Night glenn! Have a great weekend! AdLib 28 minutes ago

Good Lady Glenn…….so glad to have shared the dance floor with you tonight. MurphTheSurf3 28 minutes ago

Right behind your Glenn see you guys next week Harleigh 28 minutes ago

Khirad, voting in Australia is compulsory, Postal votes are allowed, but no tick on the voting register is a fine. All Aussie residents (NOT just Aussies) must register to vote, or be fined. pinkpantheroz 28 minutes ago

G’night, glenn pinkpantheroz 28 minutes ago

Murph – So a whole cow is more expensive than a dozen barrels of oil! AdLib 27 minutes ago

Night Harleigh! See you next week! AdLib 27 minutes ago

cheerio h. pinkpantheroz 27 minutes ago

I would be ok with Harris but her CA roots do not bring anything demographic to the table and as a prosecutor she has a lot that can be shot at and down. MurphTheSurf3 27 minutes ago

Night Harleigh….the crowd is thinning. MurphTheSurf3 27 minutes ago

We had a decent Republican in Oregon. I say ‘we’ though I was across the bridge, in Gordon Smith. Like would I have voted for him? No. But the tea party never took in the NW initially. I had Republican friends and such, but now it’s all shit. Khirad 26 minutes ago

And I did not find Harris a compelling presence in the presidential race. MurphTheSurf3 26 minutes ago

K, decent and Republicans is rapidly becoming n oxymoron. But we can wish! Cheerio, all pinkpantheroz 26 minutes ago

Good night to you all. Stay safe pinkpantheroz 25 minutes ago

Khirad – My point is not to demonize her, it’s just to say that she is not the reliable narrator that all the accusers against Trump and Kavanaugh, for instance, were. AdLib 25 minutes ago

Khirad…here so many Trumpers, and Tea Partiers, and OLD Time Gopers have been mauled by so much of what Trump and his GOP co-conspirators in congress that I am amazed it has taken so long for them to begin wising up but the signs are there. MurphTheSurf3 25 minutes ago

So, PPO… MurphTheSurf3 25 minutes ago

With that I shall say Gute Nacht, and offer vielen danken zur AdLib für meinen posten. Yeah so like it’s been a while Khirad 24 minutes ago

Well, thent there three and then two…Khirad come back real soon. MurphTheSurf3 24 minutes ago

PPO – Yep, that’s what I was referring to earlier, Newsom is not letting the protesters become emboldened in CA, he arrested 24 of them in Sacramento. They need to be reigned in, they threaten the safety of the public in a pandemic. AdLib 23 minutes ago

Also I’m already convinced, as soon as I heard name changes, I’m reading this and I do literally have a DSM-IV. I’m so curious to diagnose this. Khirad 23 minutes ago

Night Khirad! Great to see you here! Have a great weekend! AdLib 23 minutes ago

Tschüß! Khirad 23 minutes ago

I think I shall be heading off soon but I got here for a good 45 minutes of spirited chat…. MurphTheSurf3 23 minutes ago

Hey Ad, could we get steppenwolf here….? sharp cookie…just wondering. MurphTheSurf3 22 minutes ago

It is a repeat of the Tea Party astroturfing BS, this protesting. And it’s not working. AdLib 22 minutes ago

We can try, he came once. It’s sometimes a bit nervewracking for people the first time or so they’re on Vox. AdLib 22 minutes ago

I think Mi. made a huge mistake in not dealing with the armed protesters……once they became belligerent and threatening their right to carry is secondary and law enforcement let it ride. MurphTheSurf3 21 minutes ago

So how are your fellow farmers thinking about Trump and CVID nowadays? I don’t expect any sudden changes but things in MO are not getting better in terms of COVID numbers. AdLib 20 minutes ago

Ad….yes, it can be a wild ride……maybe I will make the suggestion……of course he may just prefer to lay out his case at his own pace…which is fine. MurphTheSurf3 20 minutes ago

Yes, agree completely! Whitmer appears to have thought that it would rile them up more but what she did was embolden the militias, they will be back and more aggressive…and has she thought what they will do when Trump loses? You have to nip this in the bud or someone’s going to get shot. AdLib 19 minutes ago

I’ll invite him next week. AdLib 18 minutes ago

Ad…..as I noted earlier so many Trump admin policies, and practices have hurt our farmers, our vets, our union members, our elderly, our poor that one would think that Trumps titty milk would curdled by now but it hadn’t. COVID has not hurt enough people yet….but if it starts to……then I expect shrieks. MurphTheSurf3 17 minutes ago

Ad…Whitmer is a strong leader but she miscalculated here. MurphTheSurf3 17 minutes ago

Side note, I binge watched Ozark and was wondering during that if you’ve seen any of that. It is very fictional about MO, didn’t come off to me as representational but it is representing MO in its own way. Breaking Bad is far better though. AdLib 17 minutes ago

Having members of your legislature posting images of armed militia in the galleries glaring down at them along with references to legistators wearing bulletproof vests…..made her look foolish. MurphTheSurf3 15 minutes ago

Well, the economy in MO will continue to be hammered through the year so I would think that could wear down their enthusiasm for Trump too. But it looks, by the numbers, that COVID is going to get worse in MO nw. AdLib 15 minutes ago

No, I do not watch Ozark….actually I watch very little entertainment tv at all. MurphTheSurf3 15 minutes ago

Ad….a friend here who is an economist says that employment numbers in this state are always “soft” since so much of the employment here is nested in fragile institutions…so things could go south here quickly. MurphTheSurf3 13 minutes ago

I like Whitmer but she played it too safe and in a crisis, you have to make the command decisions without being derailed by overthinking. She blew this badly and now, if she does react, it will rile them up even more in contrast. These militias are criminal organizations, their intent is criminal, the overthrow of any government in the US is a crime. They need to be slapped down hard. I wonder if she can use and EO too ban guns from the capitol in an emergency? That could be a start. AdLib 13 minutes ago

I completely agree with your assessment of the situation in Mi….our governor here, an old time GOPer was asked what he would do in a similar situation. His answer was pretty direct: “Outgun ’em and those guns would be in the hands of those who know how to use them not toy soldiers.” Oh my….nearly 10:30…..I need to hit the hay…… MurphTheSurf3 11 minutes ago

I’m not a doom and gloom guy but the way the economy feels it will go is along the lines of unmet expectations which will knock the economy down further. Many want to believe that the stay at home orders, when lifted, will bring about a huge wave of economic activity but I don’t think so, some businesses will never open again and unemployment will not suddenly go back to where it was. Once people accept that reality, I think the economy slides down farther with the understanding that this recession will be long and slow to recover from. AdLib 10 minutes ago

Glad you are going to invite Steppenwolf……..no pressure of course but it is nice to be asked based on one’s performance. I think I have been here 10 years and you invited me to join in. MurphTheSurf3 10 minutes ago

I don’t think I’d agree with too much with your Gov but I would agree with that position. Never cede power to criminals. AdLib 9 minutes ago

I invited Steppenwolf to come the first time he came. I try not to push people who are not as comfortable with it but happy to nvite him again. AdLib 8 minutes ago

And you can bet militas are giing to come out in force when Trump loses, important for all Govs to get ahead of that. AdLib 7 minutes ago

Re. the economy…..my investment manager agrees with your position….he thinks that many small business will declare bankruptcy as protection from creditors rather than trying to reopen and then hope they can start again when the environment is better. He thinks the Stock Market Rise is because of how much free money is out there and the restructuring of investment to take into account a loss-based economy. So the rich will still make money but based on loss. MurphTheSurf3 7 minutes ago

Re Steppenwolf….yes, easy does it…… and the militias are making plans to “defend the constitution if the election is stolen from their guy….”he stood up for us now we have to stand up for him” are words I am hearing. MurphTheSurf3 5 minutes ago

Very interesting! Didn’t think about the latter issue but the wealthy always have their people playing the game so they win either way. I do think that coming on the heels of being out of business for 2 months then having a worried public not returning for sometime to acceptable numbers in restaurants and stores, at least in blue states, will bring on a wave of bankruptcies and the environment for starting over with a new business won’t look good until at least next year. AdLib 4 minutes ago

We are on the same page re. the economy….and I think your analysis extends to read states as well…. MurphTheSurf3 3 minutes ago

RED not read. MurphTheSurf3 2 minutes ago

Yep, Govs should be smart about preparing to face down militias in states where they have numbers and that means having military vehicles and arms for police or National Guard to extinguish such revlts swiftly. AdLib 2 minutes ago

AND….they need to make their case using the National Guard leadership to the militias that they best not poke the bear. MurphTheSurf3 a minute ago

Yes, probably so. Repubs and Dems are both in majorities in staying sheltered at home until safe. And red states re-opening too soon means they will have to close again, spooking the public the next time they’re told all is safe. I think they are sabotaging themselves. AdLib a minute ago

Agreed. Well it is coming up on 11 and I am dropping off to sleep. See you next week. MurphTheSurf3 a few seconds ago

Murph – yes, a real show of force, in equipment and numbers will be needed to shut them down. AdLib a few seconds ago

Night Murph! AdLib a few seconds ago
