Trump and his toadies in The Senate may be under the delusion that rigging a phony show trial will deceive the American people into thinking Trump is innocent or untouchable as a dictator but the majority of the American people are not fooled so easily nor will they tolerate betrayal and tyranny.
There may be an initial period of discouragement in the face of this attack against our Constitution and Democracy but it will boomerang into fierce defiance and righteous anger as our opportunity approaches this November to throw out this petty dictator and his corrupt cult of Republicans.
So this weekend’s music thread is dedicated to the majority of Americans who believe in and will come out in force to defend justice, democracy and America’s future. This thread is also for sending a message to these Republican enemies of our democracy, you can stage your phony trials and spout your cynical propaganda, but…we’re gonna get ya anyway.
Now it’s your turn to squeeze the lemons of Republican betrayals into strong lemonade, helping others make the transition from disappointment into determination and announce to this klan of crooks, your time in power is coming to an end.

Thank you, Fergie – The Senate trial has been a travesty of justice against our Constitution and our democracy. The abuse of power and obstruction of justice extends to every GOP Senator who has been complicit in a cover-up of the crimes perpetrated against our nation.
