It’s been hard for many rational folks to wrap their heads around Trump becoming president and the comic-book-villain-type cast of characters around him becoming decision-makers in our federal government.
To help those for whom this is all a bit hard to process, we’ve paired Trump and his cronies with matching horror film characters to provide images that will help people better come to grips with who they will be seeing for the next four years:
Donald Trump and Pennywise from “It”
Mike Pence and Pinhead from “Hellraiser”
Donald Trump Jr. and Patrick Bateman from “American Psycho”
Jeff Sessions and Gollum from “The Lord of the Rings”
Kellyanne Conway and Mrs. Bates from “Psycho”
Hope this helps folks better conceptualize the Trump team!
As much as I would like to ‘humoroize’ the drumph transition I can only see one of those deep woods cannibal flicks consuming America.
Hate can only bring more hate to terrorize The People, and it seems that hate is the soup de-jour with the conman. He must go.
The sooner, the better, fjb!
Can it start in the morning? :>
fjb, I think we need to laugh in the face of danger because danger is a thin-skinned, mentally ill bigot with narcissistic personality disorder who can’t stand being laughed at.
Good point too, with all the rural folk who voted for this psychologically deformed creature, we do have the plot of a freaky, backwoods horror film.
Wait and see, fjb, I think all the hatred, anti-American/pro-Russian, betrayals of his voters and all Americans will turn on and devour Trump.
We’ve been in a holding pattern while Obama remains President and Trump only threatens to do damage. Once the damage is being done and his own voters are among those most hurt, once his being an embarrassment, liar and fraud has been going on week after week, even more will turn on him.
Never forget, a majority of Americans opposed him in the election and oppose him today. His disapproval is at a record high for an incoming president, in the 50’s, his approval is in the 30’s. He has no mandate or buffer, if things just stayed as they are, he would be in big trouble as bad things happen during his term…but it will get worse.
Folks need to keep their spirits up and have confidence in the laws of physics and probability. What goes up, must come down and Trump and the unprincipled GOP are going to learn that faster than they could ever imagine.
With feelings of such disillusionment ADLib, I can only hope you are right! Patience, though a virtue so I’m told, comes hard for me. Those who Ive considered friends and who voted for this piss ant are complete strangers now and I am so disappointed. We shall see what we shall see!
VB, I know how you feel but keep in mind that all those rubes who helped elect Trump felt the same way in 2008 and 2012.
The pendulum just keeps swinging back and forth and the proposition I’d offer is that after it’s swung so far right as to put Trump in the WH, imagine how far it will swing back in the Progressive direction in the next elections.
Trump and the GOP destruction machine simply can’t last long. So many tripwires for them to stumble into, from destroying healthcare coverage to slashing taxes and thus slashing revenues to finance the government.
Mexico isn’t paying for a wall, manufacturing jobs ain’t coming back and the DC swamp is only getting deeper.
And what happens when his admin does terrible things against minorities/the poor/women/undocumented immigrants?
Or when the economy and unemployment heads south? Or when another police shooting of an unarmed black man is rationalized by him? Or when the Russians, Syrians, Israelis, etc. do something horrible and he shrugs. Or when another terrorist attack happens in the US, under the guy who promised terrorism would end in America once he was elected?
Trump is so set up for a massive fall. He failed in virtually every business venture, this will be no different.
Since he’s built himself up on a huge pile of lies, just being logical, when they fail to come true as this year unfolds (when the wall isn’t paid for by Mexico, his ignorant voters lose healthcare and don’t gain well paid manufacturing jobs, etc.), he has nowhere to go but down.
I was in a bit of shock after Trump was elected but now that he’s nearly in a position he has no decent qualities to succeed in, I am anxious to get this game on and use each day as another hammer to pound him, the Repubs and their corrupt beliefs into the ground for a much longer time to come.

Pepe isn’t from an actual horror movie, but the resemblance is striking!
FD, Pepe looks far more intelligent but they are both denizens of the swamp.
I actually think Kellyanne Conway is Jay Leno, in drag!
FD, you might be onto something there. I actually think she could be Ann Coulter’s twin separated at birth.
She can play Stephen King’s Cathy!
