It frustrates me, so I have largely stopped doing it, preferring instead to daily read the sites I trust such as the NYT, Andrew Sullivan, TPM, Think Progress, etc.. It is most difficult to get good info lately. And IMO, it is one reason why responsible bloggers should be so careful not to report the garbage. What are you writing? A piece for PlanetPOV? In shock when posts go in to pending on non-blog posts, I gnash my teeth and type nasty notes to the mods for which they reward me by only allowing a tiny percentage of my posts through in to the light of the HP comment column.
In the thread I was referring to, he got all in to the legal aspects of the thing, and seemed to have a real dog in the fight. Hence, I began to think that he’s a paid poster.
