Elections aren’t the answer- not with the SCOTUS ruling.. I wonder if people are just frustrated? With the Diebold scandal, nothing but lies from candidates, and no interest in the ‘will of the people’ maybe people just feel they have no power?
For weeks after the election it was the talk of grocery stores, restaurants and other public areas of ‘How did it happen?’
Perhaps if commercial buildings also added it, it might be helpful.
I agree. There are many more effective ways to reduce greenhouse gasses, than eliminating cows 🙂
How about eliminating relaxed or reduced EPA regulations?
I appreciate that people should and could do more- but if every person in the world stopped eating cows, and driving only when essential, and corporations keep up their current pollution, how much of an impact would it have?
That is up there with people criticizing people for shopping at Walmart. When you have a few dollars for groceries, you don’t go to Whole Foods!
When your grocery money is compromised by $4 /gal gas- again; you are faced with literal eat- or go to an interview- if you get one.
I don’t think a lot of people realize that there are people living well below the poverty level.
I can only speak for FL, but UI benefits have been cut to 20 wks. UI benefits are $990/mo.
Now the unemployed have to prove they were not dismissed with cause. And they have to take drug tests for $80, at their expense, before they qualify.
If you live your life on these terms, where is your focus?
FL has cut $100M from education- and the state doesn’t even fund education- the Lottery does.
They have mandatory utrasounds required before abortions, now- and the women have to pay for them. Minors have to get parent’s permission- or a court order.
To get welfare benefits, thy have to undergo drug testing- $80 out of the pockets of people who Need welfare.
Tax cuts for corporations- in 5 years, many corporations will be paying No taxes!
He is cutting Dept of corrections by 1400 jobs- FL has some hell- raising criminals in their prisons; and they’re already escaping at the rate of avg 1 per month!
All this with an approval rating of 36% Those leeches in Tallahassee better have a comfy place to land, next election..

We have two ‘adoptees’ in our family. They are Our Kids, Period.
One of them has decided to have a natural child, and adopt to fill out their family!
Our Kids are Our Kids. The kids know how they arrived. They also know they are treasured.
Nothing else matters.

Mom passed away on the 20 of December- so Christmas was a daze, today was far more clear..
