You’re welcomed, I just get upset when people like her use people in such away that only benefits her and no one else.

A nice well written article which made me think of this post:

What did Huffpost do with my Article?

This past Friday, my article “Meet the New Soviets: Gingrich, Walker, Breitbart”, was yanked from the Huffington Post after being up for 8 hours. (My article is still not up, but you can read it here.) The reasons it was pulled are troubling to me and should be a concern to anyone who wonders about the future editorial directions of Huffington Post…..

…..Breitbart’s tweet within two hours of my posting:

Find the inappropriate ad hominems about me, Newt Gingrich & Scott Walker in this fresh @HuffingtonPost piece:http://huff.to/hf9ivc andrewbreitbart Highly Influential 3 days ago……

A Short List of Pres. Obama’s Accomplishments

OK then I’ll raise you a penny and I’ll give you a list of the 10 best presidents.

So what you’re really saying is that you think it was a mistake in electing Obama becasue you had some premonition that he wasn’t going to accomplish anything. I for one worked on Obama’s campaign and as a liberal progressive. For some reason, I never saw Obama ever being as progressive as I am and I alwasy looked at him as being ‘center-left’ from the very beginning. Sure he has is issues just like you and I have our issues. But I liked his ideas and was and still willing to work with him and support him on some of his efforts to at least improve our country. The problem with Americans is we expect so much from our Presidents that we forget that they only have so much limited authority to begin with.

Name the last president that openly said that he was ‘pro-choice’?

Hi KT you make some interesting and valid points and I certainly agree with you on our approach too handling the Islamic fundamentalist, however; I’m a strong believer in bringing our enemies to the table and some would and have argued that bringing them to the table doesn’t necessarily work and in some cases that is true so what do you do then?

Which brings me to the next point, that I am a strong proponent of nation building at least in theory. I like the idea having our citizens going around the world sharing ideas and knowledge in certain areas that bring about a positive outcome for a community seeking t improve it’s self. But in every known society throughout the world there have alwasy been people too oppose such efforts no matter how much you try. What I don’t like is when neo-cons use ‘cultural imperialism’ as a means to justify a war, I’m thinking of Iraq specifically. I wish we could take the money out of the equation but you know how the story – those so called ‘free-market’ thinkers.

We have big problems in America, but America is so fractured and politically driven, we’ll always continue to have problems with most of them being dilemmas that will never be solved. I can honestly say that I have really, really reexamined who I am as an American and what America stands for these days.

“America is woven of many strands. I would recognize them and let it so remain. Our fate is to become one, and yet many.”

Thanks smit9187 I’m amazed that I haven’t heard anyone in MSM mention what he has achieved thus far. The only person I’ve heard ever mention anything about any of Obama’s accomplishments was Rachel Maddow and here. My mom assigned me and my sisters books too read every summer in which she made us write a 3 page critique of the book we read and she made us present our critique’s in front of the whole family with Q&A and all.

My apologies if I got too sentimental.

Good afternoon everyone, I hope all has been well it’s a dreary day here in NYC but I just wanna say thank you AdLib for taking the time to create a list and in reading that list over a quote came to mind:

“I was never more hated than when I tried to be honest. Or when, even as just now I’ve tried to articulate exactly what I felt to be the truth. No one was satisfied”

The Age of Obtuseness

Hey PW, I agree with your comment but the left is somewhat disorganized because you have your blue dogs who are left but aren’t progressive and then you have your progressive’s who aren’t blue dogs.

And I know there are a lot of Hillary supporters out there who absolutely dislike Obama.

How do you bridge that gap into making it a whole without being too subjective?

» Posted By bzb On February 11, 2011 @ 5:28 pm

And at this point it seems he’s not getting any help with some progressives do you know how many times I’ve been called an Obamabot by a so called progressive becasue I happen too agree with Obama on certain issues?

WATCH LIVE: Mubarak Resigns! Egyptians Celebrate!

It’s so hard for me to listen to and watch Beck what a waste.

» Posted By bzb On February 11, 2011 @ 11:16 am

Just imagine if McCain and Palin had been in office we would have had deployed troops in Egypt by now? Does anyone have any reports on how many of Mubarak’s party have actaully resigned from the Egyptian congress?

Now I do believe the battle will begin for either a new Egyptian constitution or amendments added to it.

This is a good site to explore the Egyptian constitution it’s pretty interesting.

The approval comes from the fact that our government listened too what the ‘people’ wanted and certainly we have more money in Egypt as opposed to Iran. No one is doubting the fact that it will be back to business as usual and to be honest you’re correct, I can’t name a total citizen state as of yet, but Arizona along with other states sure looks like they would like to become a “citizen state” when they’re talking about nullifying federal laws.

I’ll say this, if Bush recognizes that by stepping off American soil or leaving the western hemisphere for that matter he will be arrested then Mubarak will probably live in exile from Egypt for the remainder of his life knowing if he ever steps foot back in Egypt he’s risking his life.

Hey Sabreen good to see you. Yeah, they are and after reading a lot of the comments; trolls are in abundance over there every now and then you can catch a good thread. I’ll admit, I still have my HP account but I’m sooooo close too canceling it but the Planet is pretty cool, it’s good to be amongst veteran and smart bloggers.

Yeah, I feel that coming even though they are sitting on trillions of dollars.

I’m so glad my grandparents and my mom taught me and my sisters how too grow our own food, I haven’t bought vegetables from a market in years and I always go to Union Square’s farmers market and I like Prospect Parks farmers market in Brooklyn.

It would be great if US schools had or bring back horticulture programs since we’ll alwasy need botanist.

It would have been great to see Americans standing at the doors of these banks when they collapsed our economy it would have brought meaningful financial reforms. Now it’s going to be interesting to see how those on the right will frame this.

Kudos to the Obama administration and especially kudos to Secretary Clinton.

Facing Ignorance

There is nothing wrong with asking people too de-friend you since you disagree with Rush’s pov, I respect people like that, I’ve lost friends over my staunch, uncompromising pro-choice views but at the same time, I’ve gain new friends in the process.

And fly over America has become the ideological battleground. That’s why anything the right says these days doesn’t surprise me at all; it’s almost to be expected it’s almost reminiscent of the Goldwater 60’s era minus the technology.

Like I’ve alwasy said Obama could show these people anything they ask for and they still would caste doubt. You would think they would be talking about a potential GOP candidate and what they are looking for. It’s all about division there are people no matter how hard you convince them will alwasy be about division on some level.

These people I bet are pro-life and yet abortion would be allowed for them all while saying they are pro-life. And when you have 72% of Oklahoman’s voting against their own first amendment rights banning Sheria law then all you can do is stand your ground and keep making your voice heard these people will never change.

Glenn Beck doesn’t know it, but we’re “celebrating” his birthday with a special donation—one he won’t like.

The donations will go to Amy Goodman’s Democracy Now program, which is the antithesis of Beck’s programs. CREDO has been a proud, long-time supporter of Democracy Now, and Goodman is a tireless and hard-working journalist in the best of the American progressive tradition.

I forgot to post this and I already get CREDO mobile service.

No I don’t know Kitten of DOOM since everything I post over there goes into pending.

Unless they merged with another company, they were vulnerable to takeover.

And that is the reason why she accepted the corporatist cash.

DPenner already showed up here and as much as I dislike Flosso he made me laugh but he was the only troll that was able to get over 1000 fans.

Corporington Post

No I’m not bitter at all and I would love to debate you on anything but I just don’t understand how you go on the KO thread and totally do the opposite there then what you are doing here.

I guess it’s the two faces of D Penner and no I never hated you, I just don’t agree with your politics.

» Posted By bzb On February 9, 2011 @ 5:39 pm

I forgot about you and his match ups you alwasy gave him a good troll smack down.
