Vote for Romney and We are Sunk: Look at His Record

Sue, Made me look didn’t you? 🙂

Ron Paul freak who has no real grasp of reality. Some one who sits online and spams Ron Paul crap all day.

Murph, very good reply but from experience on PPOV, I doubt if we will ever see him again, let alone a reply.

tlprice71, Isn’t this the biggest “Oh, look a squirrel” stories from the RW they came up with? They were both born on US soil, thus making them US citizens, ya know, “anchor babies” This is one of the topics that KQuark mentioned earlier, it’s an issue with a small sliver of Americans and a non-issue with most voters yet it still gets talked about. Since when did you get concerned about candidates birth certificates? Since PBO? George Romney? John McCain? It would seem to me that with all the issues in this campaign that this would even concern you. This topic is pure rubbish to me more speculation and garbage than anything else, lacking facts.
Interesting subject material you chose as an introduction to the PPOV.

Mitt Romney – Meet the New Staff – Same as The Bush Staff

Excellent Sue, and to echo other voices great research. It does look like old home week for a Bush reunion and with the Ryan/Romney budget it only makes it worse.
One complaint, some of the people I remember still and did make my blood pressure go up and my skin crawl!

What he couldn’t get the liar supreme out of retirement ‘ole Rummy?

AdLib, I’m a little short on cash right now, maybe later. 😉 Hate to break into one of my trust funds.

The Power-Hungry Games

Isn’t every government using a parliamentary system presently now in control of a minority leadership? Not sure if that’s the answer.

Obama To Be Blamed for Statements by Anyone Who Voted For Him

Hello Kalima, I have been without tv or internet since last night, just now back so I’m playing catch-up.
I can’t tell where those poll numbers are from either but NPR reported tonight that the gender gap is +19 for PBO in the latest polls (Friday night) and they did a long story on it. I’m stumped.
Even after the MSM was exposed at saying that Hillary R. had no affiliation to the campaign, they kept up with the story, they have no shame. I didn’t see any retraction on their mistake? Anyone else? Pond scum serves a purpose in nature, can the same thing be said about the MSM?

Now to burrow up under the covers, it’s going to be in the 30’s tonight. Brrr that’s cold for this dessert rat.

» Posted By bito On April 14, 2012 @ 9:50 pm

I see a lot of Rasmussen and Fox polls in there and if they are included then they should have PPP in the mix also. Actually, I can’t tell what polls they are using for their average.

» Posted By bito On April 14, 2012 @ 9:14 pm

Well, said Miss Kalima!! 10 thumbs up ❗

» Posted By bito On April 14, 2012 @ 8:55 pm

That was a nasty tweet and as Christians they should be ashamed of themselves. With Ann’s millions why didn’t she open a shelter for battered women, be a foster family, adopt children? Am I blaming this tweet on her? Why not, turnabout is fair play, no? As KT said:

“Why did they have to bring Hilary’s sexuality into this?”

You’re all right Sally, there is a lot to be angry about today but we will keep the hose handy. 😉

» Posted By bito On April 13, 2012 @ 6:48 pm

Whooee! Now that’s Christian! Didn’t Jesus say something about “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” ?

Catholic League @CatholicLeague

Lesbian Dem Hilary Rosen tells Ann Romney she never worked a day in her life. Unlike Rosen, who had to adopt kids, Ann raised 5 of her own.

» Posted By bito On April 13, 2012 @ 6:10 pm

Sally nearly everyday I tell myself, “don’t bitch about the media, too easy.” But then they pull bone-headed things like this, simple fact checking. What would it have taken to check if Hillary Rozen did or did not work for the WH, DNC or Obama 2012–three fucking phone calls by a bloody intern?
I also was wondering about why CNN was so quiet about it, like Adlib says: They got the memo from Dick Douchington.

» Posted By bito On April 13, 2012 @ 5:19 pm

Very good AdLib but almost difficult to laugh at, I fear it’s true. I caught the segment when “Wonder Boy” Russert finally was informed that Hillary Rozen wasn’t an adviser for anyone, not the DNC. Not the WH. Not Obama2012. But she was a Democrat. He looked dumfounded but..but..but…my hand out I got says she was!!! Fox says she is, Mitt says she is NBC says she is….It’s gotta be true!

All the cable talkers took that squirrel, painted it red, fed it till it became big enough for a Macy’s Thanksgiving parade and took it for a walk.

When I first saw the story, I was going “Hillary who?”

We have R’s still talking impeachment, birthers and PBO as a “secret Muslim so Mitt must be one too? Oh, but that wouldn’t help the bean counters would it, that’s beating on Mitt and as your scenario lays out, that just wouldn’t fit.

Good job!

The Daily Planet, Vol. 223

Very good Daily today Cher, as usual but I have had a very helter skelter kind of day to read much. I did see the one on the AZ lawyers and their little mafia being FINALLY seeing some real justice not the kind they used. Wow that has been a long day coming!

Does Mitt Romney Have a Mormon Problem?

You should Sue, you do good work filled with valuable information, it’s your work so spread it around!
You know you have our full support, please, just remember us when you hit the big times! 🙂

Sue, You go girl! I think all of his military/defense (or should I say war?) advisories are from the neo-con pro Iraq war and pro Iran war set aren’t they?

» Posted By bito On April 12, 2012 @ 5:00 pm

Sue, Here’s one guy you can start with:

Robert Bork: Former judge and failed Supreme Court nominee Robert Bork is the co-chair of Romney’s “Judicial Advisory Committee.” Bork opposed the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which bans employment and other discrimination against women, calling the idea that laws can require private companies to cease discriminating a “principle of unsurpassed ugliness.” More recently, the top Romney legal advisor mocked the very idea that gender discrimination even exists. In Bork’s words, “[i]t seems to me silly to say, ‘Gee, they’re discriminated against and we need to do something about it.’ They aren’t discriminated against anymore.”

Weekend Music Thread – Springtime

To go along with your “Spring time with Hitler” This song was a big hit in the spring of 1937 as Europe was entering some very dark days, this lifted your spirits.

Martha Tilton – Bei Mir Bist Du Schön (1937) Madhattan Room

(sorry, I just watched part of “The Swing Kids” the other day, so I stretched the theme. It was in springtime the song was often done in Yiddish, so I also covered Passover – and I do like swing. Too big of stretch? 🙂 )

Morning Blog

Oh there’s a ton of things to comment on but if Rebekah Brooks gets to keep a penny out of any of her payments I’ll be pissed, she needs to see a bunch of prison time, in fact that whole crew does from Murdoch on down. I just don’t like people screwing around with the ‘news.”

How many times can Putin go from President to Premier, to President to Pre……. Indefinitely, till the cows come home? if it’s one more time, by then he should be wearing ermine trimmed red robes and crowns made from the jewels of the Czars.

That sure was a “head shaker/”gobsmacker” to me too Kalima. It was almost like he said OK, now that I have this power, let me do something both the military (real rulers) and the left (rule the streets) really hate and see if they overthrow me.

I sure couldn’t figure out what he was up to, that’s for sure, until i did see this from Juan Cole, he gave some insight.

Egypt’s Morsi Backs down Slightly, but Opposition to Campaign against his Referendum

http://www.juancole.com/2012/12/egypts-morsi-backs-down-slightly-but-opposition-to-campaign-against-his-referendum.html

He may be going to hold a referendum on his proposals now but you still ask yourself why, at least I do.

Here’s an interesting bit from Juan’s piece (and if you notice, a little fundamentalism like our own pulpits,:

The leftists and liberals are afraid that Muslim clerics mounting the pulpit this Friday will declare that anyone who votes against the constitution is going to hell, and so will sway gullible rural voters. They are convinced that the constitution cannot be stopped if there is a vote on December 15.

I am not so sure. The Brotherhood got only a little over a fourth of the votes in the first round of the presidential election last May. Secular candidates took about 60%. Then, Morsi barely beat Mubarak’s last prime minister, in a country that had overthrown Mubarak. The urban notion of rural rubes is too simplistic. Many villagers are attached to the benefits of the Nasserist government, including land reform, which the Brotherhood has often advocated reversing.

I think that there is a real chance that a coalition of liberals, leftists and Muslim centrists could defeat Morsi’s constitution. Even the prestigious Muslim seminary, the al-Azhar has come out against it.

So I guess we shall see and hope that the results, no matter which way they vote, will be peaceful.

Man, Kalima, that’s just not fair! Spend all day bickering with the red tape wranglers and doing their best to keep you in tangles, then to come home to listen to the sewage plumbers banging, digging and disrupting what is left of your day, you poor girl, you must be exhausted. Is there a “Not Fair” petition that we can sign? Everyone deserves some breaks in their lives during the day.

Thanks for the articles on Syria/US/NATO/UN/…. It would be nice if the world would take a break for about 6-9 months with out any hostilities any where in the world. I know it sounds a bit like magic beans and mystical flutes, but can’t a guy dream? 🙁 Do people always have to search for a reason to fight injure and kill their fellow human beings, can’t people do the opposite for a few months now and then, search for peace and reason?

And more:

US Senate vote pushes for Pentagon military action in Syria
http://rt.com/news/us-senate-military-syria-305/

The US Senate has voted nearly unanimously to assess military options to cripple the air force of Syrian President Assad. Lawmakers said the action aims to stop the killing of civilians, but critics claim it may herald a Libya-style no-fly zone.

Ninety-two Senators voted to move forward with a Pentagon report on possible military options in Syria, with six opposing the legislation.

The bill in question gives US Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta 90 days in which to carry out the study and report back to the Senate with the findings, aimed at “advancing the goals of President Obama of stopping the killing of civilians in Syria and creating conditions for a transition to a democratic, pluralistic, political system in Syria.”

Cant we go without war for 6 bloody months?

Kalima as I was shutting down for the night I saw this on twitter:

Thousands of US troops arrive near Syrian shore on USS Eisenhower

It’s from Russia Today and I haven’t seen it elsewhere. This could be big and I was just giving you a heads up on your MB.

My thinking about the smoke coming out is that at least there is some circulation of air,not just hanging in a closed area, just my guess, I don’t know.

» Posted By bito On December 1, 2012 @ 7:31 pm

That does look frightening Kalima, it said it took one woman an hour to walk out of the tunnel and they don’t have any idea how many are trapped or injured. Let’s hope it’s more smoke than anything else and that is blowing out of the tunnel.
