Clinton brought her fate down upon herself. Even Obama has said that she mishandled her campaign. It’s not my fault she was unelectable.

1. I think you have your priorities mixed up and 2. I think you are mistaken as to who has the best chance…

Don’t put words in my mouth. I care just as much as you, but this is what the primaries are for. Getting the best candidate for the general and I will do that at all costs. If that Jackass gets the nomination I’ll vote for him, but I won’t be happy about it. I am insulted by youre insinuation dickweed.

“Of course the claim of a vote to invade Iraq may not have the same impact against Biden as it had against Clinton, because Biden is a man and Americans have more confidence in a man as POTUS than they do in a woman as POTUS.”

Gender has nothing to do with it, I will rail against Biden as hard if not harder than I did against Clinton. It’s not a gender issue it’s a judgement issue and I can neither respect or forgive that poor judgement call.

Illinois Passes law clarifying and protecting abortion rights

The measure would repeal the state’s current abortion law, adopted in 1975. In its place would be language in which certain elements are removed, such as: spousal consent; criminal penalties for doctors who perform abortions; waiting periods; and other restrictions on facilities where abortions are performed. The updated legislation, which passed a House committee on Sunday, also clarifies the definitions of viability and health.

A new provision says abortions can be performed after viability only if necessary to protect the health or life of the pregnant woman. It also defines the viability as the fetus having a significant likelihood of survival outside the uterus without extraordinary medical measures

Many provisions of the state’s 1975 abortion law have been enjoined by the courts, including criminal penalties for doctors who offered abortion care. The new law also repeals the Partial Birth Abortion ban, which imposed restrictions on doctors performing abortions on women who were 20 weeks pregnant or later. The American Civil Liberties Union says about 90 percent of all abortions are performed within the first 13 weeks of pregnancy.

Avery Bourne, R of Raymond Illinois, who is pregnant, called the measure a “massive expansion that will impact viable babies. Democrats, in turn, said the legislation is essential, with Roe v. Wade in danger; they worry women will not have access to reproductive health care in Illinois should the Supreme Court decision be overturned.

That’s something that people don’t seem to understand right now. Popular opinion was critical for Clinton to beat his impeachment proceedings. He committed perjury and legally should have been removed from office, but the public was against it because they didn’t think the question about blow jobs in the oval office (I’m paraphrasing of course) should have been asked in the first place.

Now if Nancy brings impeachment for obstruction, I’m sure it will pass the house, and when it gets to the Senate, you will hear the GOP say things like “you argue that the president obstructed an investigation when there is not enough evidence to prove a crime took place?” and things like that. Our argument is flimsy, and that will make the Democrats will lose the court of popular opinion, and Trump won’t get impeached, and his base will be all fired up. He will become “Teflon Don” and he will win his re-election bid, and all we get is a black eye.

Now If we were to try and impeach on violating the Emoluments Clause, we might get somewhere. He still wouldn’t be removed from the office most likely, but the argument and proof there is strong enough that it may damage his reputation with his base. The thing is that most of our members of Congress are also violating it in at least some way shape or form, so that opens them up to scrutiny too and get themselves in trouble so they likely won’t open that can of worms.
